They found the body of a small child in the last hour at the dump they were searching, don't know yet whether it is Somer.

Partially covered, white child, covered all but legs.
Scene being processed.
Mother and father notified.
Hope it isn't Somer, but the surrounding trash is from Orange Park.
Following garbage trucks is routine in missing persons cases.
Not much info, within the last hour.
NO further comment.
ME in GA conducting autopsy, FBI involved.

So, she was found in the landfill, and they said it is routine to follow the garbage trucks in these cases.

PRESSER RECAP

Mother and father have been identified of the body of a small child found at the landfill.

Georgia medical examiner has the body and will be conducting the autopsy.

Governor says his thoughts and prayers are with the family. It is not conclusive yet that it is Somer but indications point in that direction.
