I have not seen where the she is advertising the fundraisers so to speak and have been tempted to attend myself just to get a scope of the vibe etc and see if any of the names/ "familiar" faces from here would be there. Un (sometimes) fortunately, my son plays tee ball and it has dictated all of my free time.... It bothers me that the reqard money has not risen if they are stating the raised amount is going towards it...

Misunderstood time frame, but deleted part about ST being in house.

But IIRC, law enforcement was at the house at this point, weren't they? (at point when PC arrived at house and took ST with him)

The police report says at 1700 PC came and took little ST. The police come to the house at 1706. That gives him 6 minutes to get rid of the body. I could get rid of 10 small bodies in that time.

This is what burns my biscuits... some say it goes to reward then at last minute says the family . others say 50 50 family and reward... but haven't seen the reward go up.. Reward is more important in my book. I gave to reward.. the reward should always be first.. well, unless tm is there and I give to them first.. jmo

Money talks.

There might be someone out there willing to turn in a pal for the right price.

I went to that site once and won't again have to join to do or see anything. oh but I am probably sure you don't have to join if you want to HIT the Donate button on front page..

I just don't feel like joining another private forum for these parents and then regret it later.. I have learned the hard way..

Schools and other organizations have carnivals where I live. I even was the person a few years ago to rent stuff for the carnival for the 100 year celebration of our township. They usually rent from the company things such as the Moonwalk or other things that blow up and kids can use.

The company brings the items and the volunteers man all of the rides. You can even get these for birthday parties at a home.

This is totally different than carnivals that travel from town to town with ferris wheels and other stuff. This is what I consider to be a carni thing.

I'm sorry, but in my city the carni's have a scary reputation and it's based on things certain workers have done.

I'm thinking at this time that the carnival would be mre the type where the volunteers man the rides that are rented, not an actual carni.

There is no big deal about calling them and asking what they do. People ask for quotes all of the time. I had to present the numbers to the Centenial committee and get approval before I could rent anything. So no big deal to call them.

Well. Kamille. You said a mouthful, girl!
About the only thing I really differ with you on is that SP didn't panic right away. When he asked, "Where's Somer?" and the others said, "Oh, she got mad and ran ahead", I'm sure the next thing out of their mouths was, "She does this all the time. She'll come home when she feels like it".
Or, it could be that if SP is such a very VERY close friend as DT says, he would already know this. I think it's to his credit that he told AT to go back and "look good". How would he know where to even start?
And one more thing is this:I totally, 100%. absolutely agree with you about the cell records. I know I sound like a broken answering machine tape, but here goes one more time:Who knows where PC was when DT called him? He coulda been next door! Cell phones are that way-and one more reason to check them closely, IMO. Especially since he was all over the area in his truck.
The last thing is puzzling to me. LE has already said they will not be holding any press conferences this week. Why would DT's atty drop the suspect bomb on national TV?
OK-that's all for now, folks. Thanks for listening, and thank all of you for all you do.

Think of the immediate situation. This is my loose take on what likely happened when the kids came home without Somer:

The kids walk home from school and walk in the door. SP says, "Hey guys. Where's Somer?"

They say, "She's not here? She ran off ahead of us when she got upset."

He says, "Why was she upset?"

They tell him what happened. He tells them they better go find her and look well.

He's a little stern about it because they got on her case and got her upset. Now, they need to find out where she's hiding.

The kids had walked safely home every day of their lives. He had no reason to think she wasn't just hiding in the backyard to avoid her siblings. The other kids had JUST seen her.

So DT is not emphasizing the reward in her TV interviews? :waitasec:

I haven't read or heard her say in any interviews about reward.. her lawyer might but not her....

yes money talks NoWay but it has to be there to be made to talk.. its been 4 days since the weekend fund raisers so plenty of time to get the reward in there and announce it to public.. today is thursday the 19th nov..

those other numbers for reward has stood that way for long time.. IIRCC...

I think to get the reward they have to call Crimestoppers with their tip? Is that right.

I took that time as being 'the report was filed by CD Hickey at 1706 hours' but A. Coan was at the house at whatever time Diena flagged him down and they drove to the house. (prior to CDH's report)

That's why I didn't think it was possible.

Plus, other officers were called to the house but I don't know when they arrived.

It would have been very lax of LE to not check vehicles that had been parked at the house. JMO

what bothers me about this also, lol sorry a lot bothers me about this case.

anyway, if you have looked on google maps and walked it street view you can see for along time each street.. even if Somer ran being 7 and staying in the house most of time she probably couldn't keep the pace with running long.. her sister lost site of her in group of children ok . but as everyone went their ways and it thinned out I am sure sister could of seen Somer somewhere on that walk home if she was there.. only one side with sidewalk till you get almost to horton dr... the children only cross the street at this time... to get on same side street as their house..

I just wonder if sister told sp didn't see her on the walk home so then checked friends.. I am confusing myself I am stopping here..

IMO you have to be careful about reward money! Nobody wants to set up a scenario that would cause anyone with information to 'wait' until the reward goes up. Let's say someone saw something - so that person might wait until the reward money is up to $100K before saying anything...that is not good! So make it clear there is more than one fund for donations and you might avoid that very ugly pitfall. mho

Nothing surprises me anymore. After Shaniya, anything is possible. The woman sold her daughter for a few bucks. So for $45,000 she would sell her whole family and then sum.

Awakewriter, according to the error-laden MPR, only AT went looking for Somer.

Just popped in for a few minutes - haven't caught up yet with the thread.
But want to add to the comments about what when on with everyone the day she went missing.
I have pondered this and pondered this until I have practically memorized the narrative on the MPR, and then it struck me - each and every bit of info reported by each witness on the MPR corroborates what everyone else said. The problem is - not a single person on that MPR adds to the information. In fact, there is an alarming lack of info on the MPR. One would expect that, after police finished interviewing all parties, there to be some illuminating info, or at least one tiny bit of possibly contradicting info (especially after interviewing that many witnesses). One would expect the info given by the adult witnesses to contain more details in terms of what happened/who said what/who did what, etc. The narrative is too tight and tidy. As if it was "agreed upon". And none of the adult witnesses have discussed it in public since. In interview after interview, everything but what happened on that day has been talked about.
Seems odd.
But that's just me...
