Noway, it bothers me because it implies experience and complacency. That's just how it hits me.
Just like Marc Klaas and John Walsh and Tim Miller offer their help. They've had years to...to accept the truth. DT's had one month.
That's not, IMO, enough time for her to be offering her shoulder of solace to anyone. Maybe I think she should still be raging and in shock. It just doesn't seem long enough, to me.

Since I 1st read this earlier today I've been trying to figure out why DT's atty would say "they have the person who did this under observation, maybe among other people." It's actually a rather vague statement when you look at it. LE probably does have people under observation...not necessarily the person who did it, but we can only hope. But I think the origin of that info is the atty, not LE.

Now...why would he say that?? Damage control IMO. If the public is swayed to think there really is a suspect under observation by LE, it could serve to shift some unfavorable focus from a certain client to the real perp. Again, just my opinion. But I don't believe for a minute that LE gave them this info, not as tight lipped as they've been throughout this case. MOO

I don't believe it either, and the way DT looked at him when he made that statenment - like it was news to her. Why would they tell her lawyer this and not her or her lawyer not tell her about it till they were on national tv? Very odd.

Could be. The lawyer is working pro bono & she might have accepted as "why not"? The lawyer apparently made a comment on First Coast that the Sheriff asked him to. I find it hard to buy that though.

BBM: that's what I heard also. The sheriff asked him to look out for the family. I guess the attorney reads over the contracts from the talk shows, sets her price & probably takes a percentage of what she's given. Possibly the presence of an attorney on the talk shows prohibits the interviewer from taking advantage of DT's state of mind & asking misleading questions...kwim?

I think some people are taking the statement from the article as if LE has the person of interest under observation, and are just waiting for lab work to come back. Woohoo!

But, the article says Diena's lawyer is "optimistic" that such thing is going on. Not that is going on right now.

I am not addressing this to you, because I think you got a proper meaning to the statement.

Sadnpod, I think that is very interesting info about the area around the tanks and the creepy areas by the park. I can see teenagers back there, especially since there is a skate park.

When I think of turtles, I wonder if anyone has one of those sandboxes for little kids that are a turtle. They're plastic and maybe Little Tikes. Heavy plastic.

There was a play area.. im gonna go back... think of more...

Hello everyone. After watching the latest video from this morning, a couple of things came to mind. He is hired as a liason between DT and LE. They are not speaking to her directly I take it as before when she became "good friends with a couple". I think of him as "entertainment" because a trust lawyer would seem out of place and expertise on these interview shows. I am sure that before the camera rolls there is discussion about what questions can be asked and answered. I know in the past they had given to TV show the rememberingsomer website to advertise. Some have, some have opted not to apparantly. This one it seems declined to. As to who is requesting the continued interviews, it was apparant from last weeks "GMA Show" that it was done at DT's request by listening to the host saying " thank you for inviting us. What did you want to say to our viewers today?" This one could have gone either way. It being a month anniversary. In listening to her attorney, he did seem to be speculating that LE is looking at a suspect among other people more or less. Well, duh, let's hope so by now.
As far as unique labs, my first thought was DNA, but not the kind like Morey Po would use to track down who's your daddy, but, to even a greater degree.

Agree. Also wanted to add that I'm not implying that I think DT is involved. I don't believe she is. The atty realizes all too well that much focus has remained on DT for various reasons and yet there is still a killer out there. Sounds like he's trying to redirect the public's focus back to the killer. jmo

I don't understand why a person would be going on talk shows after a child is found dead since there's really nothing that can be told or said at this point. So many of these shows seem more like entertainment value anymore when a child goes missing.

So I finally get my gps to pick up addy in GCS, listed as temp addy for WLK when arrested. I am driving hwy 17 and its a straight shot pretty much, I go thru a middle class neighorhood and then it starts to get more upscale and Im thinkin... ok.. I can take pics of this.. no biggie in this neighorhood and Max (my gps) tells me to make a rt in 500 yds.. I dont see a rd... buts its counting down and a dirt rd appears, max says turn and I pass a ditch on rt wiht a nice subdivision behind a fence, on left is nothing until I come to addy Im lookin for..and i cant tell ya how creepy or hidden this area is.. never woulda found it w/o max and noway (thanks).. juust one dirt rd.. there are clay co do not trespass signs on fence. House is on a hill with lots of proprty and a garage..no sign of caddy, but could easily been hidden from rd.. I pass it and get to end (not far) and rd curves around but like a drive into next house.. sign says no turn around in rd, but this drive also has clay county do not trespass signs again.. looked like road went behind behind other house and all was really one property, these were only houses on that dirt rd... like they had owned it a long time and all these subdivisions were built around it.... I dont know if it was a coincidence or not, but it looked like the perfect place to hide...if u were running from anyone..so obviously LE was there, but no tape or anything. I would hate to be the person that let WLK use this as a temp address.... It was seriously a hidden, creepy place.. I couldnt see what or where the trash was.. but you couldnt see much from the road... It was too secluded a place for me to hang long and a woman came outside as I was turning around so I just got the **** outta there... if Im gonna go sleuthing, i really need to find a better vehicle to do it in...

channel 12 news vans were parked in parking area of the park.. right in front of 1080 gano, a bald man was there too, not PC, but he was talking to them ( I think they have all shaved their heads so no one knows who who is) I am only half jokin.. it was just as school was getting out and two LE were also present in lot... anyone see any news on this today? I didnt get a chance...
