I might be way off, however just consider this , the fundraisers =$$$$ and drugs cost lots of $$$$, the reward increased but not because of the Fundraisers.

Goodness - I didn't think anyone would be on here today. I didn't think I would be on here today, but since I'm not hosting the feast this year (yahoo!) I don't have to do all the cooking/cleaning, which leaves times for other things until it's time to pack up the car & go! Wow - how weird is that?!

A thought occurred to me about LE clearing or not clearing anyone, including any possible crime scene. I haven't followed many crimes in the news, but I remember one or two over the years where they kept mum about everything, with the exception of who they arrested & charged, right up to the trial. It's possible we might have to wait until then to find out anything when it all plays out in court.

Re the Divorce between ST and DT, with all that is going on why would they still push forward to finalize it , whats another month or so? JMO

I KNOW ST is pushing to see the kids... ALL the kids... ASAP.... that could be why...
and I THINK what i read about the divorce last was that her attny was fighting the drug test request as well as temporary address change. I also noticed another case with DT's name on it.

Thinking outside the box here.... DT made the comment once about the monster saying I'm going to take you to your Mommy. That comment had to come from something she was probably told by LE. That would mean the monster was in a car perhaps. The perp takes Somer out of the area in the car & kills her. The car would have the evidence inside (blood, etc)...that's why the sheriff brings up the part in the profile about a vehicle being stored, sold, etc.

Yes i remember and I was provoking them and got a 3 day time out....

Anyone else remember, when this first broke and we were sleuthing WLK - wasnt his 1978 brown caddy listed with the TAG # meaning it WAS on the road - I ask cuz I was sure that was the case, and I've noticed it's no longer listed with the TAG # which in my mind means its no longer being driven.

AND further - ok a long shot but any shot is good no? - I did think I saw it on streetview / ariel parked beside - his deceased mothers house that's being foreclosed on - in what seems like an empty lot, tucked in beside and back in from that house.

I swear it really could be it!

It was so worth the time out .. no worries. It's all about justice for Somer nothing else matters here. If you have to step on a few toes to get to the truth then thats what you do. I am not going to be worried about the niceties when there was a little child thrown in the garbage. Someone has to speak for her and only her. We are all big people who can defend ourselves and take a little heat for digging at the truths in this. Somer is gone and someone out there did it and today they are going to be sitting down to a Thanksgiving Dinner with family and friends and that just makes me sick to think they have no remorse for what they have done.

Where is PC? It sounds like he's out of the country. If in the military, and I have NO WAY of knowing if he is, he could be someplace like Germany, not Iraq.

I live in the country, but where I live it's fairly populated. Houses on as little as two acres. Some on as many as 40 acres or more. At any rate, people are always shooting off guns so that no one even pays attention to it. What I mean is, I don't wonder if a crime is being committed. I just wonder who it is and what the heck they are doing.

My hubby shoots the squirrels in our yard. I know. I was appalled at one time, but when I saw how they had eaten a hole in the wooden siding of our house and had gotten into the house, I say, "Blast away."

It is legal to shoot a gun where I live, but you have to be so many yards from any structure on any property, like 300 or something. I forget.

Are there places around OP where it is legal to shoot a gun and no one would pay any particular attention to it?

If it is a gun, then it does sound like an experienced perp, doesn't it?

I have to clarify the gun thing. My hubby uses a 22 rifle with buck shot. Not a hand gun. Sometimes when we are sitting outside, he comments on the type of gun being used. I think he has said that he thinks someone is doing target practice.


So I am wondering if a hand gun sounds different than a rifle? And if so, if someone heard it, they might tell LE because they heard a hand gun go off somewhere. So why doesn't LE say that?

I am not too sure about WLK. Not that I think he couldn't have done it, but you would think there would be plenty of evidence to convict him. If it was his car, they'd have stuff from the car-DNA. I don't think anyone could clean a car good enough, could they? I don't know.

It sounds like I live in the same type of area as you....and I hear gun shots but I also see coyotes and foxes in the farmers fields with their stock so I never think twice about the sound. Tho I image a hand gun would sound a lot different from a hunting rifle, I'm not sure it's a normal sound in broad daylight on the streets of OP, my goodness I hope not.

Regarding WLK & his car, THAT IS TRUE if they know where to find it....I remember a fellow sluether calling in about 286 Gano and the news that DAR had died seemed like a newsflash to them, so what we THINK they really oughta know and what they really know - might really surprise us.

HEY! All this gun talk just reminded me, DWK - WLK's brother, the one in the long term care facility behind the school - he has firearms charges on his record!! SOOOOO there must have been guns around at one point - would they still be around??? Say out at his ex-wife's house on Harbor Road, in Green Cove Springs (do I sound like a broken record about that address or what??) - that would be where WLK was picked up for not registering his new address as an RSO!!!!!!

The foreclosure address could also be the crimescene, afterall it was to sell the next day and the sale was cancelled by telephone. Still not sure how a foreclosure gets cancelled at all nevermind with a phone call....but maybe the house needed cleaning up? I dunno.

My mind keeps wanting to go back to DT's comment about someone telling her I'll take you to your Mommy. Walking to take her to her Mom sounds a little ridiculous....but driving her to her mom sounds more plausible. She more than likely has received information from the LE that isn't being released to the public - might not be much, but I'm sure they've shared their theories, etc with her. I would also like to address the attorney Michael Freed telling the individual to do the right thing and turn themselves in to help this family and community heal. My guess is they have a POI and are just waiting for the results from the special crime lab to seal the deal. I am leaning towards someone in the neighborhood and even possibly someone close to the family. My neighbor's current girlfriend's 12 year old son was missing for days. They found him in the woods with a single gunshot wound to his head. Apparently he got his hands on a gun that belonged to his friend's Dad. They were in the woods playing with it and it went off, hitting the 12 yr old in the head. His friend was scared, ran off and didn't say a word to anyone. The search went on for days before they found his body. The boy's father was arrested for supposedly selling the gun to the young boy. So I don't rule out older kids... once again, just me thinking outside the box where I tend to live my life.
