The foreclosure address could also be the crimescene, afterall it was to sell the next day and the sale was cancelled by telephone. Still not sure how a foreclosure gets cancelled at all nevermind with a phone call....but maybe the house needed cleaning up? I dunno.

I'm out there/here grasping and I'm all alone.

I was catching up today and read the posts concerning a gunshot wound.

In my opinion, this is yet another red herring. You'd have to trace back where that rumor got started at the fundraiser. No one knows the COD, so where would anyone know this from? I expect that was planted as a false lead and it wouldn't be the first time in this case. If there was in fact this rumor going around, I can just imagine who it would serve to be spreading it.

Well a few things I have been mulling over within my pea brain, just based on the SO's being cleared so early in this case has me thinking that this crime is not the typical SO case and the fact there has been reference to the possibility of more than one person coupled with the lack of info , could the person/persons be juveniles?

Okay lets say COD was in fact caused by a gun shot/shots, LE would not want to leak that news in hope that they could maybe find the weapon, or the fact that they are waiting for someone to talk about the incident ie comment made by Sheriff that there are individuals out there that know something......

In this crazy World we live in do we really know if we heard a gun shot we would call 911, I hear sounds from time to time that sound like shots but it could possibly be a car backfiring etc. I also live near the waterfront and can hear rail cars attaching to each other that sounds like shots. I don't know......

My mind keeps wanting to go back to DT's comment about someone telling her I'll take you to your Mommy. Walking to take her to her Mom sounds a little ridiculous....but driving her to her mom sounds more plausible. She more than likely has received information from the LE that isn't being released to the public - might not be much, but I'm sure they've shared their theories, etc with her. I would also like to address the attorney Michael Freed telling the individual to do the right thing and turn themselves in to help this family and community heal. My guess is they have a POI and are just waiting for the results from the special crime lab to seal the deal. I am leaning towards someone in the neighborhood and even possibly someone close to the family. My neighbor's current girlfriend's 12 year old son was missing for days. They found him in the woods with a single gunshot wound to his head. Apparently he got his hands on a gun that belonged to his friend's Dad. They were in the woods playing with it and it went off, hitting the 12 yr old in the head. His friend was scared, ran off and didn't say a word to anyone. The search went on for days before they found his body. The boy's father was arrested for supposedly selling the gun to the young boy. So I don't rule out older kids... once again, just me thinking outside the box where I tend to live my life.

I'm right outside the box with my thoughts....but I've looked at DAR's criminal background and I think it's HIGHLY possible she knew DT &/or CPC. If that was true, couldn't/wouldn't it be possible that WLK was a familiar face to Somer and he could have been driving by - pull over to Somer with her SAD maybe even tear stained face and say "I'll take you to your Mom" and she'd believe him if she knew HE knew her mom. (WLK was with DAR for years - his last released from prison in 2004 was to her address.)

I guess that could be true about lots of people in the neighbourhood (familiar face)...but we were always looking for a connection between WLK & DT (with SK on her FB) and I don't see why DAR couldn't have been that connection.

Anyone else remember, when this first broke and we were sleuthing WLK - wasnt his 1978 brown caddy listed with the TAG # meaning it WAS on the road - I ask cuz I was sure that was the case, and I've noticed it's no longer listed with the TAG # which in my mind means its no longer being driven.

AND further - ok a long shot but any shot is good no? - I did think I saw it on streetview / ariel parked beside - his deceased mothers house that's being foreclosed on - in what seems like an empty lot, tucked in beside and back in from that house.

I swear it really could be it!

I dont remember why I am thinking this, but I must of heard it somewhere.. that WLK sold this vehicle to help pay for DR's funeral?? If it changed registration to another owner, it would have a new tag, no? Or are u sleuthing the VIN.. and its no longer registered?

Well if WLK is still in jail because he can't raise bail, wouldn't he sell his caddy even if it was an old piece of crap ? Also when LE said they were observing someone, to me it means they are still in the community not in a 8x8 cell. Just a thought

My hubby has a motorcycle, but not a Harley. He's not in any club and not interested, but I think he knows the motorcycles around here.

DT certainly is into if she has chaps. Poker runs are done here as well, but it's going from bar to bar. So it's a way for people to get to know each other in that scene, which it appears DT might be into.

Don't know how to slueth the VIN...it's still on his RSO info page - under Vehicles & Vessels, not sure how current THAT is.

WELL that could be another connection between them all, as both CPC & DAR rode motorcylcles. And yes as a rider, you get to know other riders especially a lady rider in your own hood.

Is it that easy to sell a car? It isn't around where I live unless it's a cheap one with great gas mileage ,which I don't think that Caddy would be.

Is a 74 Caddy collectible? I don't know. It would be tough for him to sell a car from jail, I would imagine. He'd have to entrust a buddy. That might be a bit of a problem.

IF it was a gun, I think that LE should've said so on the news.

That way anyone who heard a gunshot near the day of Somer's disappearance could've come forward, even if they didn't see what happened.
