Your theory sounds very plausible, up until I got confused over your last sentence I bolded. I am not clear on what do you mean, she was definitely targeted? Do you mean Somer in particular, or any child that could have been walking alone that particular day?

Both. I think any kid would do but this was someone who knew her and most likely someone who disliked her. The opportunity was there and the motive was his rage. I know Somer wouldn't go with a stranger. So it was definitely someone she knew. Prime suspect SP, second PC and third neighbor or someone from school. The fact that she died the day she had a fight with someone at school is very strange to me. Someone was mad at her. Maybe there was feud going on. SP could have been asked to help and ended up killing her. It could have been a teen in the neighborhood Somer often spoke to. Kyle is kind of suspicious to me as well. The guys that did work on Gano too. I wish this would be solved already. This killer needs to be punished.

Her own mother said she didn't know a stranger which means she was friends with everyone (in her eyes) so it is possible she would go with a stranger.

I didn't see the pictures that guy posted that night, but I have to say this is the CREEPIEST PICTURE I have scene in a long while. That is down right disturbing and disgusting:shocked2:

Our Jon B posts were removed. I can't find where they were moved to. I had just said that the monster who killed that sweet little girl is still out there. You don't suppose that this could be the same monster, do you? Maybe this investigation is alot bigger than we realize. Maybe that's why it's so quiet. This scares me to even post this.

BBM Do you have information that no one else has that confirms she would not have gone with a stranger? Everything we've heard about Somer contradicts that. Evidently she always talked to strangers and knowing how crafty a child abductor can be, it unfortunately seems quite plausible that she would have gone with a stranger.

She (supposedly) walked up to a random construction worker and spoke with him. Somer even hugged crossing guards. Do you know something that we don't?

Hi...just some ideas I had running around in my head

I keep coming back to the ODD outgoing ways of this little girl...it is still strange to me that she would go up and talk to construction workers

did she >> see something she should not have seen?? (ie, a drug deal...a drug stash?)
see something she should not have seen that she might not even understand such as a construction worker (or just a person) stealing from a construction site??

did she threaten to "tell" on someone?

or...scary thought....had someone been making sexual advances on her and she threatened to tell?? IMHO she had a lot of "spunk" and "moxie" and I somehow think that Somer would not be hesitant to yell??

I am not sure that I can follow the idea that it was a little friend who killed her...but ? who knows?? what about a teenage boy?? maybe a teen was making advances on her and she fought him off and /or threatened to tell on him??

the timeline is very odd....it seems to be a small window of horrible "opportunity" or else a situation where she comes "upon" something

and in that same light.. it is POSSIBLE that she did have an accident...and someone got rid of her?? Maybe they have a criminal past and didn't want the scrutiny?? that also occurs to me

The "dog bites" would have shown up I do think..so that is out...but maybe she picked up a worker's nail gun or ??

Jmk is much older then SP and he definitely didn't kill Jon Benet. But SP does look like him.

Somer was angry that day. She wasn't going to give anyone compliments or go with a Stranger. She wasn't in the happy go lucky mood.

LogicalMinds, my kids are talkers (imagine that!) and I can easily imagine them having the kind of conversation with the construction worker that Somer allegedly did.

My kids copy what we say and we can often tell exactly who in the family (mom, dad, aunt, uncle) they are copying.

I imagine Somer heard an adult say that about the house on Gano and used it when she stopped to talk.

It's been noted that Diena has a habit of using what others have said ... maybe Somer picked that up too?

I think it was someone who had seen her time and time again, walking home from school. And on this day, she just happened to be alone and he struck. She was either lured into his car possibly near the park or she may have walked right past his house and he lured her in. Of course, that's all jmo.

To me, for it to be any other scenario the window of opportunity is just too small. Something else could have happened, but it just seems too unlikely.

I have always been a talker but never went into someone's car especially before I was 20.

She was mad at her friend and mad at her siblings (conjecture on my part based on the media reports).

I don't think that necessarily translates to mad at the world at large. Not with a 7 year old. I don't know if Somer was quick to snap at someone and quick to forgive.

A stranger might be just what she was looking for if he/she made the initial approach and was nice to Somer ... then Somer might respond the same way.

I just can't agree with your statement about knowing Somer did not go with a stranger that day.

We all do now. We've only discussed her day and night. Live and breath till this monster is caught. I know a little about children, having been one and having 3 kids as well as babysat some and converse with some. The last thing any kid wants to do is get into a stranger's car.

How do you know it wasn't a stranger abduction? I guess I don't understand how you know this. If she went up to total strangers and pet their animals I don't think it's very far fetched to think if she was by herself and a stranger had a puppy or animal in their car or something that she couldn't easily be lured. That's what abductors do.
