May I please ask if you or someone have more information on this attempted abduction in Deland?It says page not faound for me.I still feel the person who killed Somer were at the renovated house on Gano with the crew memembers or someone they knew.I pray they find somer's killer soon.

ms. suzanne this was posted a few threads ago ... back then it had a video with it . the wife was being interviewed.. there were 2 guys arrested. one was married ... that is all I remember..

Is this what Somers mother said?She says her daughter is beautiful and she would miss her.This made me very sad.No one had a right to take her little girl away from her.I pray they find her killer soon.

oh ok I see it now . thank you very much. I thought it was a spy coat on a monkey.. I don't know what you call ppl like me but I am sure a medical term for it is out there. lol not crazy either .. lol

when posters change their avatars for holidays etc. It takes me while to figure out what they are.

lmaoo I saw a new one other day and thought it was a lady standing with legs spread.. it was a white xmas tree in center with color around it. lol that is why I ask now.. took me 2 days to figure that pic out..

A 9 year old girl in Deland, Florida recently reported that she was the victim of an attempted kidnapping / abduction as she was walking home from a school bus stop area. The girl reported that a man grabbed her. The girl then screamed. Thereafter, the man ran let her go after the screams and after possibly being scared away once he was spotted by a motorist.

This incident shows the dangers of walking home from a school bus stop. Many working parents are not able to pick up their children from school or at a bus stop area. This, in turn, puts a child in danger for abduction, kidnapping, and injury. Parents should do their best to arrange for supervision and safety precautions for children walking home from bus stop areas. If a parent cannot personally be there, arrangements should be attempted with other parents. In addition, a buddy system should be arranged for children who do not have parental or adult supervision when walking home from a busy stop area.

I have been reading for the past few threads and people seem to get quite mean towards DT on here but I find they are quite kind to ST except for a couple. I wonder why is that? I have noticed several are blaming DT for what happened to Somer but there is NO factual evidence to back that up.

If you would like to do some research on ST he has lived in Colombia, SC, Copperas Cove, TX, Killeen, TX and Graham, NC. Amongst other places...Korea, Iraq. I know people don't understand why DT is the way she is with ST but maybe more research needs to come out on him...maybe we could find that information out.

I feel that neither or the two had a thing to do with their daughter' tragedy.

Sure, they could've done this, or done that... but after all is said and done, only the criminal is the one responsible for her death.:waitasec:

As I have said before, had Somer stayed with her group (and brother and sister), chances are that she would be alive today. NOBODY (including family members) could've predicted that she would run away and walk alone that day, even if she had done so in the past.

I believe this to be a crime of oportunity, whereas the criminal saw the opportunity (she being alone and far from others' view) of taking her and murdering her.

ok 2 different towns and the link on lawyers site doens't work for me either. being a lawyer I would think he would put more info out there. that is just weird.

OK, I am going to try to sum up the sister, bil question from last night and hope I don't screw this up. If I do I will delete so as not to confuse anyone.

The sister in the pics with DT with shortish brown hair and crazy bow is sister Denise. We do not know if she is married. She lives in FL.

The scratch on neck, yellow shirt guy who also appears in those pics is not Denise's husband (according to iwanna) He is a cousin named Chris who lives nearby, Orlando maybe.

I'll put a disclaimer in here that while 4mer identified brown hair girl as Denise, iwanna identified scratch guy as Chris. Iwanna would not provide any info as to how they know the family, or how they know Chris, all other posters here who seem to have some sort of relationship to family have given details as to how they know them even if only vague.
So, don't know if I can trust that scratch guy is Chris and he is a cousin.

Anyone else come away with something different here?

Scratch guy seems to be rather short. I know it is hard to tell in pictures what a person height is because of the angle and 2 dimensions but in pic 30 he seems to be the same height as D and in 31 the other people are taller then he is. In pic 30 you see a cop who appears to be alot taller then scratch guy. Would a cop even notice that scratch from a distance because I don't think a cop looking down on him would even see it.

In pic 30 it seems D's sister is behind her. I wonder if scratch guy is a nephew and the pretty girl in the bow is his wife?
