Denise F., 29, of Homosassa is the aunt of Somer Thompson, who vanished on her milelong walk home from school Monday in Orange Park, near Jacksonville. According to the girl's mother — F.'s sister — Somer was squabbling with another child, and her sister told her to stop. The girl got upset, walked ahead of the group and hasn't been seen since.

Maybe it's not odd for a 19 yo to go to the funeral. I have a hard time going to funerals for people I don't know, so it may just be me that has issues with it. Certainly there were LOTS of people who didn't know Somer who went ...

From looking at his Myspace that guy seems incredibly nice and not suspicious at all.

I think someone found a photo of the man we believe is FB, the BIL and wanted to know who is was and whether that was a scratch on his neck.

The man is in photo 30, 31 and 3 in a link posted (I think) by Dr. Fessel.

OK. I caused all of the confusion as I saw from a post that DF, sister of DT, had the same last name as the perp in the kidnapping thing which I thought was in Texas, not Delaware.

So DF does not have a hubby. Maybe that's her ex. Maybe he's an Indigo and friends with PC and SP? Just kidding. Time to go to bed.

Gah! I have to make a phone call tomorrow to get the details and make sure I didn't imagine that, but I swear I think this is correct.....not sure what he was in for, but now I'm also concerned because Denise has a young daughter as well.

no pics, but the mutual friend that DT and I were neighbors with kept up with Denise and DT after I moved away, whereas I decided to end things.

So in a nutshell, the common friend is the one I need to call tomorrow...I always sign on too darn late....dang it.

I don't know if the mystery guy is someone close to PC or to Diena. Maybe he's a cousin of Diena's. I am close to one of my cousins and I know if something happened to my family he would be there. From the way he shadowed Dad in the video that the pic below is from it made me think he is part of Diena's family. Forest is too old so he's not Dawn's husband. He could be Denise's SO but something about his interaction with Dad and Mom Bowling made me think he's closer to them than by marriage. I could be wrong though. Maybe somebody can dig up that video.

Here is another picture of the mystery guy. You can see Diena at the microphone and the group of 4 behind her is (from left to right) Dad, Mom, mystery guy, PC. I know it's mystery guy in the picture because I remember seeing video of this press conference.

I'm not sure if this is pouncing. It doesn't feel like it because I'm typing slow and thinking.

I guess if Diena were the only one to say this, I would wonder. Or if people went in front of the media contradicting what Diena said. But I don't think there have been.

I think if this description were off kilter from the reality of Somer, someone would be in front of a camera saying so.

I remember hallucinating that Samuel said Somer was fearless (he was describing how when they went to the beach, she headed right for the water). I don't remember what else he said, but I'm pretty sure that if Diena were saying something about Somer that he didn't feel was true, we'd know through Sadnpod. Maybe anyway.

I dunno - I get the feeling that "She never met a stranger" became a catchphrase in the community as a way for everyone to describe her. The first person I remember hearing say it was the grandmother - I think it was before Somer had been found and they were still holding out hope she would come home safe & sound.
