In a series of bizarre coincidences, I found an RSO (kidnapping charge) tonight who is a dead ringer for the scratch guy--even appears to be the right height. Funny thing is he shares a last name with witnesses from the neighborhood, lives in ST's neck of the woods, has tattoos of "bones," and apparently accidentally shot himself today although he originally reported that a guy in a red truck did it.

Correction--looks like the shooting was a couple of weeks ago--story is headlined today, but says it's from 17 days ago.

I think this is interesting because he does have an interesting last name. Perhaps he was visiting in the neighborhood?

Although it doesn't appear to be listed on the mug shot, it looks to me like he has tear drops tattooed by his eye. I have heard 2 explanations for those. 1. signifies your kills 2. signifies a fallen comrade. A sympathy tat.

I'm not against the uncle for a POI, but I am wondering how he would have had the time. Or do you feel from the report we really can't ascertain that he was home meeting the niece?

Or does it matter? Maybe tomorrow we will read that the uncle was reporting from his villa in France.

I wonder if the shooting kid at the high school lives close to Somer or if he could have friends close to Somer. Bringing a gun to school indicates something very wrong there.

LOL @ Scratch Guy. In the video when he steps close to Diena and then moves out of the way of her dad ... I thought he was the only one who didn't get his cue right on where they were going to stand.

I don't know if it was this same video, but there is one when there is a kid about 12 walking behind the family and sticking his head through and grinning. I kept shouting at my computer for him to get out of there and show some respect. It was a press conference for a missing/murdered little girl, not an interview of an athlete after a game.

Did anyone see that video or is it one of my (many) hallucinations?

I don't know if the uncle was waiting for the niece. I couldn't determine that from the article. But maybe I've missed something. It wouldn't be the first time, LOL.

ETA: ooops forgot to mention I noticed what appeared to be the tear tat under the eye right away. I looked over the sheet 4 times looking for a mention of it. Weird that it would be left off the description, right?

I think some of it has to do with the way google turns things up depending on what words you search for. You could probably find a connection between mongooses, the pope and a peanut butter sandwich if you used the right search terms, but it wouldn't necessarily mean anything.

This is a very strange case though-propably because LE is playing it so close to the vest for now.

But I don't think it looks like Sean either. But he seems to change from picture to picture (or maybe my contacts need cleaning).

I think scratch guy had more facial hair, but he could have shaved? This guy also looks more fair than scratch guy, but it's hard to tell.

you have to consider that this guy was in the very bottom right corner of a big pic, this is the best I can do with this one.....I need to make another trip soon, but gas and funds are tight for me, so I can't do it for a few weeks at best.....but hey, I tried.....

Actually I was taking a pic of the new banner, and when I just looked for you guys I saw this guy sitting there, so I thought it was who we were talking about....but now that I have zoomed and zoomed some more, I think it might be SP....I don't know, what are your takes on it??
