Kind of strange to have an ambulance, unless one of the workers was overcome imo.

I would think it's SOP for respectful removal of a body to transport to ME.

If that's the case that they were getting harrassing phone calls/emails at a time like this, then that is just plain sad.

  • #123
:waitasec: That is odd. Maybe people were harassing him about his involvement? Then again, maybe not. I have wondered about him myself. Something about the whole situation seems off.

I hope LE will interview him if this turns out to be Somer.

Almost positive they would have interviewed him by now anyway.

Please let there be evidence to lead them to the perp. Please lord don't let this one go cold like Neveah's case.

Yesterday, Dave made a joke about the guilty appearing to help and I joked back about watching new members. We talked a lot about his page and her and her friends ms pages and now both sites have been altered. I wonder if someone has read what we had to say here and have advised them to do so?

I thought LE was outstanding in the way they handled missing Somer. LE updated us in a quick, clear manner - I loved the regular updates. LE and the FBI made great use of search dogs, helicopters, infrared, horses, volunteers , and it was all in an organized and swift fashion. They wasted no time!!! The community came together in an all out effort to help and rumors were kept to a minimum. Their use of resources is outstanding and brought to a close the vast search for beautiful Somer. Hope they are as resourceful in finding the pedophile who committed this crime. mho

I couldnt agree more! I was thinking that the entire time what a great job they were doing. Hopefully that will continue so they can catch the 🤬🤬🤬 that did this to her.

Heartbreaking how this happened. Had hope for this little girl all day at work today. :(

I am absolutely heartbroken.

RIP Baby Girl!

This is so heartbreaking, that poor, poor child. RIP Somer.

Just been watching First Coast News and they were talking with a neighbour who takes the kids to school every morning(somer and her siblings). She was behaving like she knew something about the family. She said something like "the family knows what's going on". She looked like she wanted to say more but couldn't. She aslo said something about she is worried about the other kids.

I'm not trying to imply anything but I found it odd.

Anyone else see this?

I can see that the owners of the website might want to remove ALL traces of his name so that their server does not crash or to make sure they do not incur a lot of extra charges for the bandwidth. But he is still ON there, just no pic, no contact info.

I would think it's SOP for respectful removal of a body to transport to ME.

Most locations do not allow obviously deceased bodies in ambulances ime

  • #131
Did anyone notice if SP was at the vigil? I couldn't even really see her from the way the camera angle was. I could just hear her tormented pleas.

  • #132
His pic was removed, but a Google image search for INDIGO HEALER FIRSTNAME LASTNAME (put in his name) will return his photo.

Why would he remove his photo???

I am very suspicious of the thing about sending the kids out to look for an hour...doesn't seem right-thinking to me...just my thoughts.[/quote]

Bolding above by me.
Well, being the untrusting soul that I am, I had the same thoughts.
It just sounded 'off' when I first read it but I really had tried putting it in the back of my mind because, well, because I'm so cynical that it sometimes clouds my rational thinking process.
But now that Somer's been found......that statement has come back to me and won't leave.

At first I also found it strange that photos were removed and that they had changed information on their networking sites. Just seemed to be an odd thing to do when anyone close to you is missing. But what if it is becoming the norm for the athorities to tell anyone in a situation like this that one of the first thing to do is change these thing because of groups like ours and others? Just a thought but maybe groups like WS is changing the way they do things in Fl.

Unfortunately it happens.

People make assumptions and then driven on emotions go out and do and say horrible things totally unwarranted against others.

Body Found During Search For Missing 7-Year-Old Girl

<snipped>
Clay County, Fla., Sheriff Rick Beseler first said the partially covered body was a female, but then corrected himself and said he couldn't yet confirm the gender. The parents of Somer Thompson, who has been missing since Monday, have been notified.

The body was found by Clay County detectives who followed garbage trucks from the girl's neighborhood to Folkston, Ga., just north of the Florida border in Charlton County, Ga.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokesman John Bankhead said the agency was assisting with the investigation and would conduct an autopsy on the body Thursday morning in its Savannah office.

"We all need to say a prayer for Somer's family," Gov. Charlie Crist said at a press conference announcing the discovery.

They corrected themselves and said it was Georgia Crime Scene techs, not an ambulance.

That's a possibilty.

About showing the Mom the body so that it can be identified....
Maybe a digital photo, walk the camera/photo down to another area where the mom waits and show her the photo.

I can't imagine taking the mom to the exact area and showing her the face of her child partially covered by garbage.
That would be a sin, a real sin. IMO

Ok never thought of that, thanx

She should've made her ms private a loooong time ago. I still have those nasty ones saved on my computer.

Tim Miller was on First Coast live praising LE for the way they have handled this case from the get go. He has been invovled in many cases. His praise gives me hope that they will find the person/s who did this.

Thank you Tim & TES for all you do.
