Sorry ... I see you wanted to know if he had asked. I thought he did ask funeral home but since Diena had paid for funeral (ETA: I think payment was donated technically) and she said no, they could not give it to him.

Oh hey Sad, I see you are back. I posted a few questions about ST. It feels like he is getting a raw deal but I don't really know. Would you mind answering.

It seems like it would do the kids good to be able to see both parents, even if not together.

ETA: OK I guess you do mind. LOL. Both times when I posted these you leave. Oh well.

That pissed me off. Sexual battery on A ONE YEAR OLD? They should tattoo it on his damn forehead.

ETA: In RED. And then put him in cement up to his, um, knees.

JMO

What a great idea! A condition of release of a SO on a child should be that he/she had to be "branded" as one so that everyone would know to keep their children away from him/her.

I Was wondering if ST had to appear in court himself for the divorce. Did he get any visitation with the kids? Is he still in a wheelchair? If so,Did he borrow a van again? Is he still here visiting or gone back to NC. TIA

You said too late, for him to get hair? Did he not request? I am not sure she got hers either. She hadn't more than 4 weeks after the funeral. According to a video she thought it might happen the following day. But who knows? TIA

ETA: Oh and lastly. Does he have any custody rights at all? For future visitation with the children.

I dont know if he requested hair. IDK if diena got hers. ST did not have to appear and dr said not to travel, but he did. He is on crutches now. Id rather not say if he is here or not. visitation/custody are not settled. His hopes r before christmas.

Well ... it was just a knee-jerk reaction. I don't think it would work in the real world.

At least not the cement part.

It's not the funeral home that is giving the hair to DT. It is a group that is providing. DT had not received it last she said. They are putting the lock in a shadow box with pearls. There would be no reason to not provide Dad with the same. So I am asking if Sad is going to call the group and ask the question

Anyone else besides Sad (and me) having issues? The thread keeps bouncing around for lack of a better term. (And I don't have multiple tabs open tonight.)

O/T: just wanted to share...
Anyone want to take a shot at the odds of this ever happening again?
For those who have served on jury....this one is something to think about...Just when you think you have heard everything!! Do you like to read a good murder mystery?
Not even Law and Order would attempt to capture this mess. This is an unbelievable twist of fate!!!! At the 1994 ann ual awards dinner given for Forensic Science,
(AAFS)President, Dr. Don Harper Mills astounded his audience with the legal complications of a bizarre death. Here is the story:
On March 23, 1994....... The medical examiner viewed the body of Ronald Opus, and concluded that he died from a shotgun wound to the head. Mr. Opus had jumped from the top of a ten-story building intending to commit suicide.. He left a note to the effect indicating his despondency. As he fell past the ninth floor, his life was interrupted by a shotgun blast passing through a window, which killed him instantly.
Neither the shooter nor the deceased was aware that a safety net had been installed just below the eighth floor level to protect some building workers and that Ronald Opus would not have been able to complete his suicide the way he had pl ann ed.
The room on the ninth floor, where the shotgun blast emanated, was occupied by an elderly man and his wife. They were arguing vigorously and he was threatening her with a shotgun! The man was so upset that when he pulled the trigger, he completely missed his wife, and the pellets went through the window, striking Mr. Opus.
When one intends to kill subject 'A' but kills subject 'B' in the attempt, one is guilty of the murder of subject 'B.' When confronted with the murder charge, the old man and his wife were both adamant, and both said that they thought the shotgun was not loaded. The old man said it was a long-standing habit to threaten his wife with the unloaded shotgun. He had no intention to murder her. Therefore the killing of Mr. Opus appeared to be an accident; that is, assuming the gun had been accidentally loaded.
The continuing investigation turned up a witness who saw the old couple's son loading the shotgun about six weeks prior to the fatal accident.. It transpired that the old lady had cut off her son's financial support and the son, knowing the propensity of his father to use the shotgun threateningly, loaded the gun with the expectation that his father would shoot his mother.
Since the loader of the gun was aware of this, he was guilty of the murder even though he didn't actually pull the trigger. The case now becomes one of murder on the part of the son for the death of Ronald Opus.
Now comes the exquisite twist.. Further investigation revealed that the son was, in fact, Ronald Opus. He had become increasingly despondent over the failure of his attempt to engineer his mother's murder. This led him to jump off the ten-story building on March 23rd, only to be killed by a shotgun blast passing through the ninth story window. The son, Ronald Opus, had actually murdered himself. So the medical examiner closed the case as a suicide.
A true story from Associated Press.

My vote is still for gps chip no chit. I think tats should be done for this and stds, like behind the ear. So u can jsut check it and see if you want this person in your life. Then clean people would be sportin the naked ear look. Things would be so much easier for parents and singles...

I believe it was the Jusice Coalition. They purchased and donated the shadow box from a jewelry store. I am not sure who would cut the lock of hair but I would think that would be the funeral home also.

ETA: Since the funeral expenses were donated, I would think that would be considered in behalf of both parents

LOL ... it was an ID 10 T error.

Cam that story is great.
