From what I can tell here, nobody really means to give offense. You have to admit there are some crazy family dynamics going on. We all know how ST at least presented himself on news as trying very hard not to be judgmental of DT, at least trying...maybe he really means it or maybe for the sake of the kids or who knows? A lot of recriminations flying around and unsubstantiated allegations about both parties. He is clinging to the tenets of Christianity and forgiveness and I thought he was really struggling...I don't think anyone seriously thinks he would be celebrating.

Sadnpod's posts have been all about him just slogging through this mess. He seems quite quiet, from what I can tell. He does not seem to volunteer information or try to say mean things.

I think (could be wrong) that some people are just frustrated by the inappropriate way the communications went at say, the funeral, or the dad not being told in a humane way about the death, or being denied lock of hair, or being excised from the obituary. These seem to be purposely vengeful acts and I for one felt that they were strange in a scenario of raw grief.

I think we get emotional from empathizing with different people connected with this crime, wanting to get to the truth, applying what we think is common sense or something to figure it out. I can't explain what keeps me coming back to it, except to say that I don't think anyone is on here for entertainment or to really enjoy watching someone suffer. Because they keep coming back to trying to be fair and balanced. But as humans, we react. Thanks for listening to my reply.

Did any of you see the other thread where a WS poster says her 2 sons are missing - JUST went missing. She didn't say where she is or give any information at all - just that they just went missing and she is asking for help.

Yes. There is no info yet. So sad. She called the police which is the first thing to do and then start searching.

A car show to benefit the family of slain Orange Park 7-year-old Somer Thompson will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Hurricane Grill and Wings, 5907 Roosevelt Blvd.

There is a $30 show car entry fee, with plaques and trophies as well as raffles. Spectators get in free. All proceeds will benefit the Thompson family.

Did God answer your prayers and if so which path did you decide to take?

God always answers prayers if the one praying is sincere and truly wants to do his will. If one makes an examination of one's conscience and asks for guidance. If one admits that we are all capable of anything under the right circumstances.

I don't know exactly what you mean, but any path I choose is hopefully what he wants me to do. I don't always understand what he wants me to do. I mess it up a lot. He knows I want to know and I will try. But of course, I need his help more than my own resources, which are limited.

Isn't that weird they would have car shows just a week apart at the same place? I wonder if the same cars are going to be there? I think that would make for a boring show.

I just called there, the Hurricane Grill. Yep, sure enough there was another car show fundraiser there today for the Thompson family. The girl that answered the phone said it just ended. It wasn't suppose to end until 4:00 according to the article. Maybe they had a poor turnout??? It was very hard to hear her, or I would have asked more questions.

It appears as though a lot of people have not forgotton this family and really care about them. I am glad especially for the sake of little Sam, the twin. And Abby. Not that anything can take the place of their sister.

I wish media cared. I wish they would investigate like they do with other unsolved crimes with discrepancies. Sometimes when the media gets going, they uncover what the police can't or won't...come on, National Enquirer! Think: Tiger Woods. Just imagine, one or 2 articles, EXPOSE! Conspiracies! Cover ups! Case Solved! Rest in Peace little child!!!!!

The thread is closed and someone said the poster's profile showed she was reading something online about "mother tweets while child drowns". I hope her children are safe and accounted for. If it was some kind of sick joke, well..I hope the poster is banned forever, because it surely wasn't funny. I was suspicious of the poster posting something like that anyway. I would not be on the computer while my child had just gone missing, but I didn't know if it was real or not.....scared me. I hope I'm wrong that someone would do that without it being real.

With the way people are tied to their cellphones nowadays, constantly on them...I guess I can even see how, if your child went missing and you were frantic, you might tweet or post in a panic thinking it would be a way to get info out there? I DON'T KNOW!!! Somebody must have realized this was a joke to ban this person. A bored individual trying to stir things up? Just the type of situation which throws a wrench into efforts to find justice for the little ones who die.

Can we take a moment to remember somer right now? Two months ago right about now. How I wish I could go back in time and snatch her to safety. Oh sweet somer.. where were you right now on that tragic day? What is the perp thinking right now? Justice will never be enough for your loss, but it is a start. You are in our hearts forever.

LOL, I don't claim to be anything but occasionally arrogant, usually in defense of something. I am certainly not an expert at anything, jack of all trades and master of none as my mother used to say.

Having through necessity been let into the dark places of lots of scrambled minds, I do have a fertile imagination.

No offense to anyone here, but I don't think I'd be online asking a bunch of anonymous strangers for help minutes after my children went missing or didn't show up. God help her if she's lying or telling the truth.

No worry, Grandma and Grandpa or the neighbors or somebody will watch those kids, right?

If they are down at the police station confessing, maybe they took all of the money and are going to return it with the other money to some fund for missing children.

Surely if DT and ST are still hammering out the custody arrangements, she wouldn't think of running off with those kids what with LE supposedly all over the murder investigation....? This has to be a rumor, doesn't it?
