The sheriff did rule himself out though so it isn't nobody. If and when she's ruled out doesn't mean she doesn't know who did it. I never said she did it. She knows much more than she's saying. Much more.

My point was, that even tho she hasn't been ruled out, I find it harsh to pick her apart on every word she says while she is distressed. If you read the post you quoted from me, it explains it better.

Wow, I want to share this if anyone is interested and has YouTube. I suscribe to CBS Online on there. They just posted a vid with a former (I want to say NYC) detective who talks about his interrogation techniques. It gave me chills regarding this case. Please, if you can, log onto YouTube and watch it, I don't know how to share it here...
I think as interested sleuths, you will get a lot out of watching it.

I feel better now! Knowing there are detectives that are prob like this guy and they aren't stupid...they know what they are doing...they wait if they have to...God Bless Them...

Im sure they havne't stop and might have an idea of who they are looking for. Or what kind of car or truck...I remember they did mentioned a white truck early on.

Nobody has been ruled out. But, DT seems to be the one everybody loves to pick apart.

No one comes on and feels badly for "scratch guy" who may have just been a hurting relative too...
Or the LE whose house was posted
Or AB whose children, hubby and house have been picked apart
Or GC whose words have also been picked apart and his niece talked about

Why defend DT and not these people? Because she was her mother? More reason to pick apart...IMO

I was referring to LE not wanting Tracy's case "solved".. however you guys bring up a good point. There is always the possibility that LE is protecting one of their own here. Covering their arse.. Wasn't the blue nissan all part of a CI (Confidential Informant) thing? And that's why it quickly got shut down and shut up? I always had a theory (with nothing at all to back it up) that what if a LE's relative were involved (ie: teenage son)...
I dunno - I watch too much tv. I am going back to Occam's Razor.
However I have a theory - but i'm going to go research something before i waste people's time on here so i'll be back momentarily if it is something that makes sense. :idea:

My coffee hasnt kicked in.. LOL... Its never entered my mind that LE would not want this solved.. OMG... I just cant go there... why wouldnt they? I also want to add that I have not taken any time away from my family or really gone out of my way for pics and stuff... Although, you are right, it does take alot out of me and immerses me in this sorrow over and over. But I want to stay immersed. I dont want to forget. I dont want anyone to forget. I have alot of free time, cause I do need a job.. atm... can someone sleuth me out one? Preferably on wed from 2-4 (1000 a week pay) and I need that day and times to be flexible... anyone?

IMO yes, because she is a grieving mother. She had JUST found out her child was taken and killed. Those people have been sluethed. I know that. But we don't have interviews to pick apart their emotions because they did not give birth to, and love this child. DT did. But what I am trying to say is this:

The fact that her words, how she says the words, the look on her face, the tears or lack there of, the clothes she wears...... those things being picked apart during the very early interviews where she just found out her child has been taken, murdered, and dumped in the garbage is not sleuthing to me.
Sleuthing to me is looking for facts.
My point is, what is the "correct" or "normal" way to talk, act, dress... when your child has been murdered? Is there a correct or normal way? I have followed many many cases, and just about every parent acts different. Which ones are correct?

Long story short, she is being picked apart by her emotions and how she shows them instead of facts of any wrong doing.

The police do not act like she is a suspect and have not said she was one.I feel if they thought she was they would probably have said something like they did with Misty Croslin Cummings or who ever she is now and they did not.I really think it is for the LE to pick them apart.Not us.There is a difference between investigating and picking apart.Some people here were VERY cruel to her.I feel they owe her an appology.I do expect it when the time comes.My heart goes out to Somer's mother and family and friends.I pray they catch the Somer's killer soon and justice is done for this pretty little girl.

IIRC there was a guy who worked in a lab, who was arrested guessing 3 weeks or a month after Somer was found. There was a child who was spending the night at this house, there was some kind of inappropriate behavior & she went to a neighbors house to phone LE. There was a newspaper article about the arrest I believe. I can't remember if it was in OP or how close. We discussed it on one of the threads. I have to do a few things (drats), but will see if I can find the thread & info. later.

It could be both or neither too.

It could be targeted or not. Most likely it's both. Targeted and sexual.

I don't think DT did anything or knows who did it either.

And, I for one can not stand how people pick apart everything a mother says right after her child comes up missing or right after she finds out her child has been found in a big pile of garbage.

How can anyone say what she said or how she said it was "wrong"????

Sorry for the rant. It just drives me nuts how the families are sometimes disected in these cases. IMO the families of victims are victims as well until proved otherwise. KWIM.

She's can't be cleared. Look at that police report. It's a mess. She never called the police and waited to see one pass by. I wonder if she called any of Somer's friends. This was 7 year old little girl not an older teen who wandered. She had no business wandering. Her mom said she never wandered before. Then we found out that she often wandered. Too weird. It's like DT knew her daughter was in trouble this time and yet she didn't call the police.

Ive been around the back of somers school on that dirt rd, and over the tracks to kingsley, Its creepy creepy back there, abandoned creepy houses with windows bashed out. There is some kind of construction co, right there at the tracks, behind the stationary caboose that is there. Both of these are fenced in seperately. There werent any dumpsters that I could see and it was fenced and locked. I imagine it would be at night and on wkends too.

We pick everyone apart. We are here for Somer. Nobody hasn't been picked apart. She should be happy that we even care to try to solve this. We are objective. I've never cared what she wears or how much money she fundraises. I've never cared about anything but solving this. Unfortunately, the lack of evidence always goes back to her and her inconsistencies. Not that she's guilty but she does know something. I know a lot of missing and killed children aren't even making the news.

I'm afraid this might be another JonBenet and that would be horrible. All because the parents weren't 100% honest.

IMO she may have said she never wandered so that LE would take this serious from the get go. Sometimes we say things to get action. I don't see that as a red flag. JMO
