I missed you guys, and when this case is solved (quick prayer to heaven)...I will miss the comradery here. Nice to see some familiar names coming back.

I am confident that LE is honing in on their # 1 suspect, just like a frog hones in on the fly... until... SLURP... GULP... there is no escape. Frogs have their purpose, after all! LOL!!!

You know I do!! Since the posse was kind enough to let us know that there might be a kernel or two in their response to the Jax.com story for those of us who suspect DT. I revised my scenario accordingly.

I do believe Ms T. did get a call from the school that day. I believe she thought DFS might be coming by the house later. So as soon as she hung up the phone she was Texting SP to get him to come right over there to um, wait for the kids.

Sorry Posse, I didn't "buy" the shopping trip!!

Personally, I am very encouraged by the news that ST & DT are trying to work out the child custody issues amicably. That will be beneficial to the kids, and will aid in every family member's healing process from this awful tragedy.

This news, along with the recent news that LE is "focused & streamlined" in the investigation, lends tremendous hope.

I am still catching up with the thread, and will post more shortly.

I think that ST is speaking from his own personal efforts to work things out amicably. You read the comments I referred to above where the "friend of DT" says they used the opportunity to paint ST in a bad light with the reporter. Recommending the reporter investigate ST did not sound all that promising that the animosity level has decreased on DT's side.

Which is too bad for the kids. But, I trust matters will work themselves out in the long run. If not the short!!

Can anybody provide a link to a professional who has said DTs reactions or body language shows that she is lieing?

I ask this because I have seen such articles and interviews were professionals have studied and questioned parents in this situation before. It happened in the Caylee case, the Haleigh case, the Shaniya case, and several others.

I've seen this done on DT by posters here but I've never seen a professional make comments on it.

If there was the fear of another DFS investigation, it would explain a lot, IMO.

And ITA, the Halloween shopping trip comment @ that news site doesn't make sense. Why was it never mentioned before as to the reason SP was waiting @ the house? Surely there were opportunities to explain SP's unusual presence @ the house that afternoon to LE. I mean - they went so far as to say that he normally doesn't babysit the kids, according to the MPR, but when asked to do so on that particular day, he said "yes".

DT & SP were both interviewed by LE regarding SP's presence @ the house. Neither one of them mentioned the reason being a preplanned shopping trip for Halloween "goodies" as that family friend commented @ that news site.

I agree. I don't know where DT and her entourage she had there to speak to this reporter get off. If anything he tried to minimize the damage to her.

But, just between you me and the gatepost, I think she will look a whole lot worse than this in the public eye before it's all over with.

Oh, I agree Kermie. I think she got a call from the school. Maybe from the same councelor as last year. I think she was just worried that lady was about to call the hotline again. She was trying to get out ahead with some damage control. That's what makes it so awful. To think she did the unthinkable because she was worried about having to pay up $300-400 in after child care. Sickeningly ironic. You might even say "heinous".

ETA: Not to mention how it would look to ST custody case. You know how she hates to lose.

How do we now this wasn't told to LE as well? It could well have been told to them and just not reported in the news? I don't think every piece of every interview concerning this case has been reported word per word in the media IMO. He could have been there to do both.

Anyone have the birth year of AC? Depending on that , he may or may not have been the correct age to still be in elementary school last year.

I remember 14-15, but I do not know. I believe the daughter that DT has that does not live with her is younger than AC. She looks to be too old to be in elementary school.

We don't know the full details of the relationship that DT had with SP. From comments I have seen by DTs friends, he is a wonderful caring person. I am married and I have a best friend who is male, I am female. I have had lunch with him, i have shopped with him, so yep it would be reasonable, "hey hang around for the kids till they get home and i need some halloween stuff so if you want to come" , etc. seems perfectly reasonable to me. OK Just checking. I wonder why those little outings had never popped up before THIS day then, if it was so all fired normal a thing to do.

And it wouldn't surprise me to learn if LE were told several different versions of how he came to be there on THIS day.

Strangely enough. That was the story that finally came out courtesy of "Hillary". That DT told her at least, he was waiting to go shopping for Halloween.


ETA: The day before was Sunday. Who goes shopping on Sunday when you're off and everything? LOL.
