camcneishg I believe put a picture of the little dumpster at the park on.How far away was it from the rest rooms at the park.I just keep thinking of this dumpster.I don't know why.But if cadaver dogs traced her scent to that dumpster I would have thought they would have marked it off as a crime scene right and apparantly they didn't.I'm still trying to find out what dumpster Somer was possibly put in.Isn't the only one they went to was the dumpster at the Gano house?I do think the killer may have gotten somthing out of the dumpster at the house on Gano to possibly wrap her in?

You mean what dumpster she was put in? She was never found in a dumpster. I don't know if she was ever put in one. For all we know, she could have been put in the trash or even in the garbage truck itself. Poor little Somer

Just my general opinion here, based on everything I have seen and read in total. I think it is very hard to make out what is fact and what is rumor. IMO, probably some of the people (and not just DT) interviewed by the media or posting on message boards are either outright lying, or the information they gave has no relevance to her murder. It's hard to sort out what is and is not relevant with so little "official" information being put out.

1. I don't think it is anyone that has been specifically named, with the exception of Kyle that we don't have a full name for and I don't want to discuss further since some posters state he is/may be a minor.

2. I think it was probably a stranger or a virtual stranger. By that I mean someone who may have seen her before, but had no connection to the family.

3. I think the crime was not planned, and the opportunity presented itself when Somer ran off from her siblings. I think it was a sloppy crime that left a lot of evidence. Much of my opinion on this comes from discussing the case with a family member who has experience and training in forensic science (Disclaimer: family member does not live in this area and has NO connection to this case, just offered their general opinion to me).

4. I think LE has a good idea of who did it. They don't feel the need to release any further information or continue to ask for the public's help because they have what they need and have to put it all together.

5. I think it was probably sexually motivated. This is what I'm least sure of, and go back and forth on. I think there is a possibility it was even an older juvenile SO. If not sexually motivated, think it was either one or more teenagers.

All of the above is JMO of course for right now.

she was found in the garbage truck.I'm assuming she was put in a dumpster some where or trash container.I have no idea if they put her in the dumpster.I'm just curious where she could have been and where LE thinks she was before she got in the garbage truck.

With all due respect, I lived next door to her when AC and MN were little...around Somers age, and those kids were allowed to roam....granted, they stayed around our area and we were on a military post...but they were called in when it started getting dark, other than that, they pretty much did what they wanted to do.

So I don't think much changed by the time Somer was that age. Sorry.

Is that a FACT or should we call it a RUMOR? Did you document it?

I can agree with all that you have said, except

1. Why don't they clear DT?

2. If it is a sexual crime, aren't they concerned this person will do it again or do you think they are watching this person 24/7?

3. Do you think this person is in the pokey for another crime and that is why the community is safe from the person?

What does your LE person think?

What does you LE person think about the Gano house?

What does your LE person think as to why they would use digging equipment to dig in the Gano back yard?

TIA as it would be great to get an insider's take on this-a real LE instead of us amatuers trying to figure it out.

LE sees all of the comments posted daily about DT.....There must be a reason that they are not coming to her rescue on this.....just like they stopped the questioning on that mysterious little blue car and the attempted abduction prior to Somer missing.....they basically said....it has nothing to do with Somer's case....why don't they say the same about DT?? This alone has to make you think......MO

I've heard a few local rumors of which dumpster her body was in. None of them are in the immediate neighborhood. I'm not naming the locations because I don't want to start any further rumors, and I have no reason to believe any of them one way or the other.

Like I said, I have no reason to believe them except for people just talking. I don't think any of them are true. Yeah, I live in the area, but I don't know anyone that is in anyway connected to the case. I think other people have posted some rumors along the way, but it was more of the "I know someone, who knows someone," and said this....." type thing.

They haven't cleared any one.I have noticed they do not clear any one in alot of cases.I don't know why.Innocent untill proven guilty?

I mean they get a lead or tip, follow it through, and it doesn't pan out. They don't contact the media and say "The bread truck driver from Eddie's Bakery* has been cleared."

*I don't know if there is an Eddie's Bakery in OP ... I made it up to make the point.
