How could this have happened? He should have been arrested in August and the life of a little girl would have been saved.

Any chance he was just on the run? I noticed 2 interstates intersect here per wikipedia. I-59 & I-20.

Are these images ones that he could buy or find online or were they his own creation? I am not very knowledgeable about this and not sure I want to be.
I do know that in other cultures, child is not such a big deal and is legal. So I was just wondering ... I really want this guy to be be the real suspect

Maybe they couldn't find him? And maybe the DNA tests came back? It is a shame they didn't arrest him then-I would like to know why they didn't-Somer could probably still be alive.

I really don't know. I'm not very knowledgeable about it either.
I do know that in other cultures it's not looked down on. That's why I'm so glad to be from a "civilized" culture. IMO
I don't think we protect our kids enough, but for the most part, we know this kinda carp is wrong.

I really want this to be the guy as well, but even if he is not Somer's killer...I thank God he is off the streets.

And I agree with other posters, why was he not arrested in August????
Somer would still be alive.

I think LE may get a lot of back lash on this.

I'm interested in Jarred being a possible POI for HaLeigh as well... Fits his age group, really.

Believe me, similar thoughts have crossed my mind, but with a twist - I wondered if it wasn't an attempt to mislead re: Haleigh. And I wondered if Haleigh wasn't a way to set up a defense for KC.

My mind works in "mysterious" ways, not necessarily helpful, either.

IOW about the part that's blacked out. Who were they looking for pictures of? why would you go on someone's computer looking for child ? what tipped them off? There must have been a reason. Seems kind of random, no?

And, just as a point to note - some malware does download child on your computers.

I'm NOT saying in any way, shape, or form that this is what happened to Mr. Harrell, but with all of the mal-carp that I've struggled with since last Feb 14, I have tried to read learn more about it. Child is sometimes temporarily stored on and transmitted via infected computers, at least according to what I've read. [And heaven only knows if I'm reading anything legit since my browsers stay 'jacked.]
