It is odd that they didn't arrest him then. I wish I knew why.

Me too!!! If he is indeed responsible for the abduction and murder of Somer, than he was still in the area...
He should have been arrested back in August when this was found...

I really don't know. I'm not very knowledgeable about it either.
I do know that in other cultures it's not looked down on. That's why I'm so glad to be from a "civilized" culture. IMO
I don't think we protect our kids enough, but for the most part, we know this kinda carp is wrong.

I really want this to be the guy as well, but even if he is not Somer's killer...I thank God he is off the streets.

And I agree with other posters, why was he not arrested in August????
Somer would still be alive.

I think LE may get a lot of back lash on this.

This DOB is different that what's on the arrest warrant (7/24/85)

Are these images ones that he could buy or find online or were they his own creation? I am not very knowledgeable about this and not sure I want to be.
I do know that in other cultures, child is not such a big deal and is legal. So I was just wondering ... I really want this guy to be be the real suspect

Yeah, but at the time he was living in an apartment from what I understand. It was after he moved from the apartment and left the computer, that he moved to Gano.

that's true but i thought i heard it was a relative that lived at the Gano address, That was just me reaching though. I wish there was a more obvious connection. Did anyone see that Oprah show where she had the predators on there this week? It was very enlightening.

Most of these predators start WAY before caught. I was interested in where he's from, who's missing there, etc.

IMO there is a lot more info here, as there always is. Fro some reason, he was not arrested back in August. Maybe they were waiting for more evidence to be completed on Somer before arrest, and will pull out the murder charge soon.
LE has reasons for their actions, and I wish I could be a bug on the wall and know what they talk about!
It definitely looks like this guy is the perp in this case.
I would like to see if there are any other child disappearances in the area - now he is only 24, so thank goodness he has been apprehended now before there would be another child involved.
I still do not see the stimulation of child to these men. Just don't get it.:waitasec:

It looks like the Jarred Harrell with DOB 3/6 was arrested in Mississippi for breaking into cars. I assume that's what Buglary- vehicle means

In my sleuthing on Jarred, there was a mention in the WWW about Clay County and Putnam County will compare notes to see if he's related to HaLeigh's disappeareance. That got my brain going and I posted in her thread about it (I don't think Misty was home that night, etc.) I dunno if it's a rumor or what; I didn't read into that as I was trying to find where Jarred's from... lol

Sorry to say, way too many (ICMEC - International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children). Check them out. icmec.org. This encourages child trafficking and makes it difficult, if not impossible to control. One report is that out of 184 nations, almost 1/2 either report that child is either legal or there are no laws criminalizing it.
I've been trying to understand child trafficking since my heart breaks when you hear about Shaniya or Sommer ... so I am just sharing with you what I learn about but don't understand. Not that I think it is acceptable but the contrary.

I once contacted Tricia about putting in my footer the information about ICMEC and all the child trafficking as an awareness. She said go for it. I chose not to because it was too hard to remind myself every day of it. Maybe it would be more responsible, but that's not gibby style. I like to keep things as light as possible. Internationally, it is absolutely sickening....shocking.... disgusting...
