I have no sympathy for him at all. I 100% believe he is guilty of the 29 counts plus hundreds if not thousands of other picutures or videos over the years.
I want the right guy arrested for Somer's murder. I hope LE has him.

That says he fled from justice and was taking refuge in Mississippi.
Is this common wording or does this mean that he knew he was being investigated and high tailed it out of Florida to "take refuge"?

What is the date on the warrent? Does anyone remember offhand?

I think this is it. I know from Gabriel's case, when they extradited Elizabeth, they arrested her again. That is, the receiving PD arrested her again.

When JH gets back to Clay County he will be booked into the facility listing his charges and so forth. The next thing would be an arraignment within 72 hours. The Clay County judge will have to set a bond for him also. He has the option of keeping the bond at a million dollars or setting a new amount. It will be very interesting to see what this judge will do. JMO

Child charges is bad enough, but an article today stated that there may be even more charges, IIRC. I am anxiously waiting and watching!

According to the warrant there were also "a large quantity of child erotica" images on a compact disk. Guessing they couldn't charge him with the disk as they couldn't prove it was his?

Of the 29 pictures, 5 of those were movies.

I missed the fact he not only left the computer there, but a BOX of cd's.
Wonder if there is a way LE can prove those CDs belonged to him.
I imagine there are a ton of images and videos on a BOX of cds.

It might take a little longer to charge him with everything. If they just have a DNA match they would want to process all the evidence they got in the last 4 searches.

I doubt one image = one count. After 8 years of collecting this carp I bet he has a lot of it. I'm going to do a google search on what makes up one count in child ! Be right back!

As you can see from the non-answers you've received, it doesn't have much to do with what they actually possessed. It's up to the prosecutor how many charges to file. (This is an area where the law is really broken, IMO) They can just file one charge, or they can file one for every single picture, in which case the defendant could be (and has been) literally sentenced to hundreds of years in prison.

They could have arrested him back on the 12th of November. Instead they wait until the 10th of February to issue a warrent?

If you were interested in talking to him about a murder case too, why not have him in jail to use as leverage? This is very strange to me.
