One more thing and I won't ask any questions for a while - just read...this person had a dog that Somer petted. Did she pet the dog a lot? Was this a long-haired animal...because they shed so much. Do you think they might have found a long hair on her? That they could trace back?

I wonder also if any neighbors who saw this guy smoking and watching the kids ever called or thought it was suspicious. Wow, he appeared on the scene quickly! I just hope and pray they find the killer soon.

they haven't released that information so as to preserve the integrity of the case. but they have dna and I would assume that dna was found to be male dna. so I would speculate that yes she was sodomized or sexually assulted. the creep probably either strangled her or she died of blunt force trauma to the head " two most typical ways children are found murdered"

Dannyodie is not here right now, but I think it is presumed they have DNA because LE was swabbing JH's father and the father said JH gave DNA after that.

So, I think we are assuming that they have DNA from the crime to compare the DNA to.

SURELY if someone witnessed this _____________ J.H. scoping/watching kids around dismissal time they'd have mentioned him IMMEDIATELY upon Somer being reported as missing on her way home from school!!!!

I've been here all along, reading, just not posting until today.
I just want the killer to be caught, the monster that did this. I want Justice for SOMER. I go along with everybody who says they want facts, not just opinions about the case.

There certainly must be a lot of facts LE knows that they are not sharing. We read that they don't want to impede the investigation by outing information that the murderer may be able to say was broadcast before the trial. Then they would get away with lying or on a technicality. I'm with HOUNDS. Make it an airtight case - with lots of corroborating evidence.
Concrete stuff like pictures, documents, a possible history that can tie the murderer in to that awful day when this innocent little girl was killed just walking home from school.

I keep thinking about the FBI raking the yards. Something they are looking for there.

I think LE stateing they were waiting on test results, then finding that they took DNA sample from POI's father, then him, it is safe to "assume" they have DNA.

ETA: Not to mention that they received some test results right before naming him POI. To me, it all fits.

Quite honestly, I found his neighbors a bit disturbing too.

HOWEVER I think they were just so distraught to think that someone they observed as having questionable behavior ended up being named a POI. I think they felt they could have/should have done more.

I don't think they contacted LE about the neighbor, but I'm basing that only on their reaction (see video posted earlier).

I would think it would be safe to assume they have DNA, it's been reported numerous times that they were waiting on test results, that to me spells it out. As to if they have an unknown males DNA which was found on Somer, they swabbed JH's father, and reportedly JH himself now, so they must have something to compare it to.

Somebody was interviewed and said that ________ never came out of the house unless the kids were walking home, and that he stood outside and smoked...and watched the kids. Somebody else said that looked suspicious in light of his proximity to where Some disappeared, the inference being that, in and of itself, smoking and washing a car/kids isn't against the law...but, a person who downloaded and never was seen outside until little kids walked by...that was quoted by others as strange. I don't want to get this wrong.

Surely, they can't convict him on that! Gee, I know that...

Since that's not a crime, that tells me they have other reasons to name him a POI.

I have not read the extradition articles on ________ (J.H.) but it was my guess that he may have fought being brought to Fl based on the possibility that he would not get a fair trial here. After all, the media has done so much coverage already, and there are people screaming for the death penalty - plus so many terrible comments which we would never say here about what people think should be done to him. So I may be wrong but maybe he or his lawyer feels he might not have much of a chance of finding an impartial jury here, if he indeed is the suspect, and if it is brought to trial.

Public sentiment either for or against a suspect would certainly be improper.

Does anybody know if Attorney Freed (the LE liason who has been absent lately) is still working with LE? Is there possibly a child trafficking component to this recent arrest?
I haven't been here in a while and have been unsuccessfully trying to find links to this area. I have been following reports, but haven't been able to discuss things here.

What are your thoughts on ___________J.H. being involved in child trafficking? If LE had their eye on him, as has been suggested, maybe THAT'S why they recommended Freed? Or are there any other persons in Somer's life - associates, etc., who could have been involved in unscrupulous activities that we have not heard of? Where would we begin to look? TIA

Attorney Freed spoke on DT's behalf when JH was named a POI, he is still working with her, I have not seen anything to say his role has changed. I'm not sure what you mean by him being absent?

As far as child trafficking, if they have any indication that JH was involved in the production of child , and not just downloading it, i could see that as a possibility of being looked into, but I have not read or seen anything to point to that.

I think the fact that LE went to his supposed father's house to get a swab for DNA and then got a swab from JH, that he has been named a POI, loses jobs due to his temper, was charged with 29 counts of possessing child , has 8 years of viewing child erotica (that we know of) was uncooperative with LE, refused to give DNA at first, lies, steals, and has many moves that are unaccounted for, may be more likely the reasons he was arrested and is now behind bars as a POI. just a guess on my part.
