He never lived there (Callahan), did he?

Talking about Callahan house:

Current said the home in a rental and the family living there just moved in a couple of months ago.

"These are new neighbors renting from a woman. I haven't spoken with them," said Current.

Today, there was no sign left behind that police were even there. Neighbors said they don't recall seing Harrell hanging around.

Noway, there is a video talking with a young neighbor. She said she saw Jarred at Nassau Oaks home a few times. Said there are children in the home. Said they mostly all stay inside.

I will try and find that vid, it isn't very old.

According to Rod Buchanan, Jarred Harrell's bio father is an SO.

I went to the family watchdog site and found 2 SO's with the last name of Harrell. One is young and is also black, so that would not be Jarred's dad.

The other guy is 59, and is white with dark hair and glasses. He has 2 different convictions. The latest one is in 1996, and both offenses involved the touching of a child for lustful purposes. The 1996 one was the touching of a child or mentally incapacited or physically helpless person for lustful purposes. This guys' address is not mappable. It does not say that he is incarcerated, but does not state he has absconded either. This could very likely be JH's Dad.

That's what confused me -- I thought his sister lived in Jacksonville. Rolling River?

Maybe I'm an address or three behind.

So the Callahan house on his court records (Clay County) is his sister's house?

That guy isn't Jarred's Dad. Howard Harrell is a Corrections Officer in MS. You cannot have a record, let alone be a SO if you are a CO.

I'm pretty sure Buchanan just was misinformed.

Yes, I do know that you cannot have a record and be a Correctional Officer. I was a Booking/Classifications Lieutenant, so I do know that.

JH's Dad has not been confirmed by any official source to be a Correctional Officer.

I wanted to know why.

One of the many pieces of evidence police said they've been hoping would identify Somer's killer is DNA samples taken from where she was found in a Folkston landfill two days after she disappeared.

I used to think that if they were an adult named in mainstream media, then we could use their full name, but I don't know anymore.
