I have no idea! I know he was taken away at 3 and returned to his mother at 8. The reason I referenced him is members were trying to find out who the SO was that Buchanan mentioned. Doubt it was his bio dad since he is in LE and can't be with a record so if there is in fact an SO it has to be one of her three other husbands with Newman being the first one.

It was mentioned that Rod Buchanan realized his mistake, and it was not the bio dad Harrell, it was stepdad Newman that was the SO.

Just posting it as one of the few pics of him pre-arrest, hope that's OK. Also, noticed earlier on a usapeoplesearch that some of DT's family have ties to Fleming Island where this business is - am wondering out loud if there's any chance he knew them from this place or around the community?

If you Google the two addresses you see they are 479 feet away from each other. Or Google says.

One very possible theory is that she went past the burned out house, turned LEFT on Grove Park and about halfway down went through the ditch which curves around up to Gano (runs behind and right next to Jarred's parents' house).

It's possible she saw her siblings pass and was headed back through the ditch to Grove Park when she encountered JH or someone OR that she never made it through the ditch area back up to Gano to spy on her siblings.

Looks like him to me. Great find! I wonder if he put her in the dumpster there or is it out of the garbage collection area that would include the neighborhood of OP?

Yes, that looks like him to me.
I don't think he knew them at all. I think he just saw Somer walking home alone. Maybe for the first time that day, or maybe he had seen her before.
But, I don't think he knew the family per say.

If JH is not the killer, maybe Somer continued up the drainage ditch. It continues across Gano, coming out on DeBarry.

I had also read somewhere else there was soot on Somer after she was recovered from landfill, this to me would mean she was at the burnt out house at some stage of events ? Don't know how factual this is though?

That video is from July 2009, and sure looks like it could be him. Does anyone know when he worked there? I know he helped build it and stayed on as cook.



Jarred Harrell appears to be a man of many faces. Action News has confirmed Harrell worked at a construction company in Green Cove Springs. He was handy with tools, building on several projects in the area. His boss, didn't want to talk on camera, but says Harrell was likeable.

Harrell helped build a restaurant in Green Cove Springs. He stayed on to be a cook at the restaurant.

I don't recall that another SO was working with Kyle but do recall people finding an RSO named Kyle that they thought might be him.

Thankyou for that. Guess there is so much we don't really know, lots of speculation until we are given more of the facts.
I find it deplorable that the parents have not even been given hardly any info. on their daughter, if they wanted to know that is. It is, after all their child, they do have the right as far as i'm concerned above any one else,to know some of the facts surrounding their daughters death. I don't know, if L.E. think they have the right person, why all the secrecy?, especially as far as Somer's parents are concerned. Maybe they could demand to know if they wanted to.

Yes, thanks for jogging my memory. This is what was suggested, in what i had read. Think 3 people working for that particular company were all DNA tested also.

That is confusing, because according to the neighbor, she gave Somer a ride home everyday, but couldn't the fateful day.

Yet, somehow Somer managed to pet the dog as well on walks home.

James Vinson said he never worked there. Later, his sister, Alisa Barrs said he had worked there months ago but found other work.

There are other entries as well that imply that VD&B and/or GVC worked on the Thompson home.

Noway, I did notice that drainage ditch is fenced where hit hits Gano. I dont know if it is fenced all the way. You can see it on a google driveby.
