I am wondering some things and hope that it is OK. On the Shaniya Davis case, Mother's family was extensively discussed, so I hope that I can discuss the JH family

1. A neighbor said that she saw JH move out Dec. 1. I wonder where he went? He didn't go to Mississippi until Jan.

2. I wonder about the utilities-water and electricity at the Gano house. When researching legal documents , it appears that JH's mother and step father are in financial straits. I cannot believe that they had the money to pay for utilities at the Gano house after they moved out in the beginning of Oct. I can't see that JH would have money to pay for them either.

So, do people think that there was water and electricity in that house after the parents moved out?

4. JH must have nerves of steel. The LE operation was set up at OPAA right across the street from his house. Then a few days later they search 1080 Gano.

In the beginning there were dogs and a million people looking. But, apparently he didn't even flinch. No conscience? What? Wouldn't even the most stupid of people high tail it out of there?

Or was he getting advice to stay put so he wouldn't look suspicious?

1. I think he went to Callahan but I don't know for sure. No link. I thought that because he gave his address as the Nassau Oaks address.

2. I read elsewhere that LE had to get the power turned on when they began to search. (February 11)

I asked for, but don't think I ever was given a link to that information. I'll dig a bit, but I dug before and never read it. Maybe it was on a video. I don't get good results watching videos on my laptop. Choppy and I miss half of what is said.

Remember that statement the police put out about what to look for in someone who might have done the crime? Maybe he read that and thought it was better not to run.

The announcement of what to look for came quite a bit after, didn't it? Like at least three weeks? I don't remember.

Do you think that he thought of that on his own, or do you think that he was getting advice from someone?

I know here if you don't owe the electric company any money they have to hook you up. I don't know how it is in florida.

He wouldn't have any payment history, so where I live, you have to make a deposit to get your power turned on.

NoWay, I know that LE did have to get power turned on in Feb. I am just wondering if there was electricity and water there from October through the end of November when he moved out.

Can people in Florida get power without a deposit? Our electricity here , far far away from Florida, is a company that is somehow hooked up with Florida Power and Light. We need a deposit.

That's a good point. So maybe she didn't suspect him? She was told about the on his computer when he lived at Gano (the year before it was told to LE). She said that she waited 10 days while her husband was out of town. Then she had him look when he came back, and there was nothing on it.

She certainly is computer literate, so I can't believe that she didn't look herself.

Plus, she sounds like she likes to call the shots, based on the telephone conversations from the jail in Mississippi.

She was willing to give him an alibi. I just wonder how much she suspected. She did have some powerful politicians and others on her FB page (now gone). She said that lots of people were working for him.

Maybe she didn't really think that he did it.

Annis and General the the minor boys moved to Callahan about two weeks before Somer went missing.

I don't think she was involved in the search for Somer, but you would think they would have talked about, since Somer was last seen so close to their old house.

The killer will most likely have an unusual obsession with Somer Thompson’s case; they may speak about it continually and focus on it throughout the day. Other changes that the public should look for include someone who missed time from work or other scheduled activities on October 19th, 2009 and possibly on the following day as well.

Was it ever verified that it was J.H. standing behind Deina Thompson in one of the videos, at, i think it was a vigil for Somer? Wonder if that was to make himself look less guilty???
I guess in some ways i can see that he was raised in a family environment that taught him paedophilia was okay. His sister was married off to the stepfather at age 8yrs.
And then he committed this crime on a 7 yr. old! He got some very screwed up messages very early in his life it seems. Not that this excuses what he did if this is proven to be the case in a trial.

I think the ones like Jerred are spurred on by hate for women, it is not love or sex that leads them to do these heinous acts that humiliate, torture and murder little kids. Jerred leaving his child disk and then his camera with his videos of his victim where his mother could find them speaks volumes to me. Maybe it was his subconscious wanting her to find them and see what he thought of girls or blame herself for how he was.

He didn't take his camera with him to Miss. to relive it, that makes me really wonder if he wanted her to find it and be shocked and disgusted.
