I was thinking this: if she was placed in anything at all ... with all that tossing of trash and then the automated smashing machine -- gee I hate typing this... but anyway just imagine the little body being tossed around and then trash smashed on top of her. Anything could have ripped off of her and then my mind wanders off to the damage the truck and trash did
to her little body.

Do you think cops told mom they think know who it was? It really looked like she knew who she was talking to in that tv camera. I can't remeber which clip I was watching it was just a few hours ago. Did anyone else see that. She was serious and whe said "we're coming to get you" straight into the camera. It was impressive. She is really unbelievable. What a strong person.

I'm sorry, I just don't think that's the case. They are having a public viewing prior to the funeral...I can't imagine she has been crushed or mutilated.

I also heard on HLN earlier that the men's restroom at the park was also searched.

You're so right, mom was passionate in what she was saying. Mom seemed to personalize her words to the murderous creep - I doubt she knows who it is, but it's wonderful to see her confidence and strength.

I was thinking she seemed more stronger today and maybe LE said they have the prep under watch. IMO

Yea.. I posted about the public viewing and then thought WTH.

I hope the viewing for this family will bring them peace to see Somer again even though gone, just one last time to see her and tell her goodbye. They may really need this with the way everything happened to her.

I was wondering also if the truck compacting garbage did damage for public view. But funeral homes can do wonders these days.
Did the pm news say public view of public memorial?

Her anger and outrage is what will get her through this senseless tragedy. Her anger will keep her focused... if not for her anger and resolve to find this monster and make sure he is executed for the murder of her daughter, she would lose her mind. I'm sure she knows that! When she puts the pieces of her heart back together as best she can I feel like she will be a wonderful voice for children. She's a beautiful, passionate woman...she's a mom and she's tough! I just love her already!

This whole thing is awful. In North Tonawanda, NY last winter - right across from the School District Office - there was an abandoned house. A young girl was grabbed and taken into the house. Raped etc. She was 10 or so but managed to climb out a window in the middle of winter and ran away. The molester just used the house. He had no ties to it. So, this is sounding awful familar.
But on another note, what caused the fire? Was it a cover-up of some other crime?

Didn't they ask the lady at 4 presser bout that? I was at work and could not hear everything but thought that question come out.

I was wondering bout the crushed part with the truck doing the compacting. The mutilating I was thinking to place in garbage? IMO

Most pedophiles drop the body anywhere convenient for them. After the hunt and attack, the child is nothing more than an object to them. It makes perfect sense to me that this perp dropped beautiful Somer in the closest, most convenient spot...the trash! Some pull a branch or two over the body, I'm not surprised at all. mho

You're so right, but it wouldn't seem the perp lives in the area where the trash was picked up if that's the case ~ or he just didn't think LE would be so "on top of" following the garbage trucks. Thank goodness they were and Somer was found so soon. MOO
