ok Momma, Winn Dixie is on the end there by McIntosh...Walgreens is on the other end, it is a small shopping complex, but Winn Dixie butts up to McIntosh

Belllair-Medowbrook is the name of the neighborhood there...

ok both area's would be good to look into.. both have mid size dumpsters emptied reg basis on a reg day.. dh would be emptied at work on tues. morn so he would take our trash . we live in country so no local pickup..

also. both would have maybe a female friend working at selling stuff at stores and kids would be around.. as per astro thread also..

I am going to go look at winn dixie.. but walgreens is so much closer to gona ave tho .. wonder about real estate offices close to either store.???

The house is not actually in Orange Park, it's right outside the city limits in unincorporated Clay County. Bellair-Meadowbrook is the area in unincorporated CC but is not an official city so it doesn't have defined limits I believe. So either OP or BM works for the address basically.

I do believe that Bellair is the neighborhood that Gano is in...Meadowbrook is across the other side of Blanding Blvd.....Years ago when this neighborhood was developed, Gano did not go back this far into this neighborhood....then as the years went by, they developed a cut thru road here which is Debarry, to cut thru to Wells rd, accessing the Orange Park Mall.....

really tho Noway .. nice you did map for us . but really shouldn't it go to house searching now not to Horton drive??? just a thought.. thanks ur great help tho.. could you do a street picture of winn dixie and walgreens. try to get dumpster area in it..????? I know its a lot to ask.. But please if you could.??? I just can't get hang of copying maps..

Could this be a local teen, say a high school drop out or hs student perhaps hanging at the ball park/playground? They get out of school before the elementary school kids do, right? Maybe she WAS placed in the refuse container at the 1080 Gano house, due to inexperience on the part of the perp, and he got lucky? That 1080 house would be the perfect spot, close to home, if a neighbor teen wanted to go get high or whatever else.
Maybe he lives right there on Gano, maybe he see's 1080 every single day, and knew exactly when the trash comes, so the container was left around back that night while the searches went on. LE found nothing, and then he moved the container out front in such a way that it "blended in" with others from other houses?
Somer was upset, probably looking for a place to hide....see how that could start? Could have gotten her stoned, and then she freaked or something, or he turned super stupid all of a sudden for God only knows what reason?
Who knows.....it just really strikes me that this perp isn't the brightest bulb in the pack, excluding the crime itself naturally. Where's the best place to hide? In plain sight. So if he lives there he's pretty invisible.

Speaking of a women selling stuff.....when you turn into the ball park, there are woods, with picnic tables on the right side of the road, across the street from those big propane tanks....right down that road is a little store/shop, where they sell used stuff....it is right there in the ball park....I thought it was an odd place for a business, back in the woods so to speak...they were open when I went for the search...I have to look into this more
