Here is the area she was last seen. Because of the view, the bottom is north and the top is south. To the left is the school and to the right is Debarry.

I see on this map alread just how close that one RSO is living to burned house. on bay circle behind the burned house...

Thanks again. Would be so nice to have a map like this from the school to Somers house and then on around on gano ave to end where that RSO lives.. past somers road..

Have it in sections like momtective did .....

Kyle... at the burned house... he says he talked to Somer.

So nobody else grabbed her then, and even if she went back 5-10-15 minutes later, the workers were likely still there.

In Tori's case, TLM said "that could have been me in that video. A little girl stopped me and asked me where my dog was".

Kyle stating that he talked to her sounds like a guy trying to cover his tracks.

Did he tell a reporter this as soon as he saw Somer's missing photo on the news? Or did he tell a reporter this after Somer's body was found?

I'd love to have a last name for this Kyle guy.

BBM, I AGREE 100% with you!!! Now, if I could get you to that point in the reported video where Jennifer Waugh states they are "out at the crime scene" - our chickens might line up in perfect pecking order!

I don't know what the deal is with the links.

Jennifer Waugh is reporter, as is others later into segment. If the link is not working, go into video and click the one that says:

"Investigators Search house, Park where Somer last seen" Pay careful attention at about 35 seconds in. They conflict themselves. Saying
"Out at this Crime scene". Then later saying Investigators are being carefull what they tell us. This leads me to believe the press knows it is the crime scene. It just has not been released?? Poor Reporting??

OOOH, well now I see Tom starts reporting but you have to watch the video - pay attention to around 35 seconds, she calls it the crime scene at around 42 seconds.

A truly remarkable community! Great compassion and understanding of working paycheck to paycheck. Most of the time, nobody wants the family to get a cent to live on. The RSO you refer to wasn't working on the house for at least a couple of months. And apparently this offense in 1995 was due to him having a 15 y/o girlfriend. In other words, it's not him. MOO

PLEASE!! Someone else look at this video where Jennifer Waugh states they are out at the crime scene!!!! Want to make sure I am NOT loosing it. I think it is important because we might be able to focus on this being truth - or decide it is bad reporting or was a freudian slip??? She states this about 42 seconds into the segment!!!

Given the enormous amount of time spent at that house, whether LE admits or not...it has to be the crime scene IMO. Not sure the total hours but holy moley it was extensive. They wouldn't have spent that amount of time otherwise, but then again (just thought)...LE took over the Cummings MH too, so???

This is FANTASTIC. I have much beter perception of how she could have been playing by those tanks, ended up hiding and maybe following behind and stopping at the burnt house. But I still need to find those reports of where her group said they last saw her closer to home.

I thought at first it was because Mom knew where Somer went, but it doesn't sound that way from Megan the babysitter, who said Diena had a list and would call around. Megan also said that it would take sometimes 20 minutes to an hour for Somer to show back up.
And no one knew where she'd been???
Oh, yeah-Somer had a hidey-hole, someone who made her feel special. In which case, oh yeah, she was being primed. Or was already being used and abused.

The 'other' times didn't come from the mouth of the family or mom - it came from a babysitter who seems to have a grudge of some kind - why else would she contradict mom in a murder investigation? only my opinion

Hmmm... I just checked the national RSO list. His record says she was 13, and in 1995 he would've been 27. I know that is not the same as a 7-yr-old, but it's not like he was a teenager. His "risk level" is high - not sure what that means though: his risk level to society/children or his risk level for evading the system...?

2:37 Kids leave the building walking toward 1080 Gano Ave. Normal walking time from school to 1080 Gano Ave. is 5 min. Somer ran ahead, probably putting her @ 1080 Gano Ave. 1-2 min before the other kids
2:40 Somer arrives at 1080 Gano Ave.
2:42 the other kids arrived @ 1080 Gano Ave.

Thanks so much! It looks like Somer disappeared in 2 minutes - it took Somer 3 min to reach Gano (2:40) and two minutes later the others arrive (2:42). If Somer had veered off to talk with someone, the kids would certainly miss her. Pedophiles work quick and unless it was a kidnapping, they work alone. Somebody knew exactly when the kids got out of school and where they walked....mho

That could be just bad reporting...she might have assumed it was a crime scene because LE was there and did not verify it. It's also possible that it was confirmed to her and asked that she not report it but I find the latter not as likely.

Could WLK the RSO on gano ave.. been driving in that area maybe checking the burnt house?? could he have been watching kids at the park??? I saw some picnic tables on the road with clothes closet.. they are closest to gano ave. before clothes closet.. woods behind them.. could he have been in that area??

To me if we suspect that WLK then I would think we have to place him in the area somehow.. right????

I know RSO and pedo's love to watch kids at schools and play grounds.. they even have research on this .. I have read..

Thanks for your input! another thought is that he may have been waiting in the path of the kids and Somers ran ahead of her companions and ran right into this person. sure seems like a short time frame.
