The man had been shot in the neck, possibly with a 38-cal. gun.

Estimated that he had been thrown into the canal about 1.5 miles north of where he was found.

Robert Shaw last seen in CA in 1977 may be a possible candidate for this unidentified male. Robert has the appearance of a stocky build. No mention of dentures but see a slight resemblance in both recons.

Both have black hair/brown eyes and according to photos, both also have the sideburns.
