Vigil Holds Hope Stepha Henry Is Alive
(CBS4) MIRAMAR

A small group of family, friends, and supporters of missing grad student Stepha Henry gathered at a Miramar church Saturday, to express faith she is still alive and hope that people won't forget they are still searching for her.

About 60 people came to the church to light candles and sing hymns as the sun set. Despite a $6 thousand reward, a police investigation and fliers handed out in the streets Silvia Henry is no closer today to understanding what happened to her daughter then she was 7 weeks ago, when Stepha disappeared.

Their only hope now could be Equusearch so it's up to Tim Miller and his amazing team to try and come up with something.

But there are so many waterways, canals, ponds, lakes, rivers, etc. in Florida so it is a very daunting task.

A prayer service is scheduled for tonight in Kendall to honor a New York woman who has been missing for seven weeks.

Family, friends and strangers will gather to pray for 22-year-old Stepha Henry who was last seen May 29 leaving Peppers Cafe, a Sunrise nightclub.

The prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. at Kendall Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 19000 SW 127th Ave.

On a thread I started about another missing woman from that same area, it is said her Car is Also missing.... a four door black Audi.....
Here is another smart, beautiful black woman missing from the same area... are they sure in this case, that the car missing is an Acura? I'm wondering about Ms. Innocent's boyfriend she was supposed to meet....being from Sunrise, and all, just wondered if anyone else thought there might be a connection?

Linda Innocent had a 4 door 2005 Audi. I think that the other cas was an Acura...the one the male friend said that he borrowed?

I wonder if there is any connection between these two women. Where they in the same town? Nothing is really mentioned about Linda's boyfriend except that she was supposed to meet him for dinner. I hope LE is looking at him real good and that he is willing to take a poly. She might have decided to go straight to his place instead of home to change clothes first.

Stepha disappeared after leaving the bar with what someone said was two or three other people. It sounds like she was in their vehicle if the witness can be believed. Linda left work and said that she was headed home to change clothing. Just the fact of two pretty black women disappearing makes me suspicious. How long has Stepha been gone? Hope they don't have a serial abductor/killer there.

Stepha Finally Gets Some Press

I just happened to tune into my new favorite show this weekend, and lo and behold, look who got a full 30 minutes dedicated to her?

The Nancy Grace Show's feature on the Stepha Henry case didn't really present any new information to anyone already familiar with the case, but at the very least it makes the general public more conscious of the story. That, of course, is the entire point.

I just happened to tune into my new favorite show this weekend, and lo and behold, look who got a full 30 minutes dedicated to her?

The Nancy Grace Show's feature on the Stepha Henry case didn't really present any new information to anyone already familiar with the case, but at the very least it makes the general public more conscious of the story. That, of course, is the entire point.

I saw Nancy Grace over the weekend and I don't recall her talking about Stepha at all but she did about 2 weeks ago.

Sylvia Henry (Stepha's Mom) is having a fund raiser this Saturday the 28th to help raise the reward amount.

It is so sad watching the mother. She has moved to Miami permanently now, until she finds her daughter. The majority of information that was discussed was what we already know. The important thing is that Stepha's information is getiing out to the public again.

One thing I did find interesting, was that the Mother said the guy she was with was a good friend from high school. I was not aware of that. Is that new news or did I just miss that information somehow?

I'm glad Stepha's case is getting some air time. That does sound familiar about the guy being a high school friend.

I'm still wondering about the borrowed car that went missing. Have they ever tracked it down?

Not to my knowledge on the car. I think that is the part that stands out. Who doesn't know where their car is, who borrowed the car, or why don't they know who this guy borrowed the car from? His story makes absolutely no sense. Red Flag.

Petra is correct. It was a friend of a school friend. I just re-read the transcript. Here is a quick exceprt from it. Hope it's ok to put in here. If I cannot someone please let me know.

VAN SUSTEREN: Do you know how your daughter even knew this guy?
HENRY: It was a friend of her school friend.
VAN SUSTEREN: She had just finished college, but you don't know if she ever knew him before this night?
HENRY: I'm sure she knew him before, yes, because he is a friend of her good school friend from high school.

Ok, so that clears it up. Sorry to all for the confusion.
