FL FL - Stepha Henry, 22, Miami, 29 May 2007 *ARREST*

The "friend" has a lot of explaining to do. My guess the car was stolen, someone else there picked up the car and then it went to a chop shop, where once stripped down, it's pretty much untraceable again. If we can match up anyone who lost that car, it might help, unless it came from a chop shop to begin with. All VIN numbers destroyed or altered. I'd bet this "friend" was involved with the people she left with some how and they set it up beforehand.

Chances are there were no people that she left the bar with. She just seemed to have a good head on her shoulders and she was in a strange place. She probably left with the friend of a friend and he did something to her and then got rid of the car so there wouldn't be any evidence. That would be my guess. Why would this friend of a friend just take off and leave her there alone to find her own way home? Of course he could have been a real jerk and left her but my guess is this friend of a friend all the way. He probably thought she owed him something for taking her out to the bar and she wasn't about to give it to him. I wish she had just stayed at home with her sister and visited. She probably thought the guy was a nice guy and the person who suggested she go with him must have thought he was an alright guy. I wish we knew if LE suspect him and are just keeping mum.

Haven't you heard that LE already cleared this "friend of a friend" a LONG time ago? It's ridiculous that they did that. Can LE in Florida be this bad?

Stepha's mom seems very determined. I wonder why she hasn't vigorously questioned this friend of a friend to find out everything she can. Has she or has that guy just disappeared?

Is there any chance that Gary Hilton killer could've gone to a black club to snatch Stepha? LOL! I know I'm grasping at straws but aren't we pretty much at a dead end here??

And is that "friend of a friend" even still around or has he skipped town?

Wow ..found evidence in Sept., but just now arresting him??

  • #133
I hope it did not take this long to get the DNA results back.

  • #134
I am SO glad they're getting somewhere.

From what I've been reading, it seemed Williams moved around a lot...maybe that's why it took so long. I just hope they find her body so her family can have some peace. http://southernsassoncrime.com/

Of course this isn't the ending anyone wanted, but it wasn't unexpected. At least now her parents have a chance of recovering her and giving her a decent burial.

It's too sad. Such a beautiful and vibrant young person, with everything in the world to live for, had everything going for her,..........taken in a moment by an person with an 'evil mind.'

My heart goes out to Stepha's family and loved ones. With this arrest, it makes Stepha's fate all too real and the 'hope' of finding her alive has faded replaced by dispair.

Bless Stepha and her family and friends,
fran

I feel the same way, Fran. May Stepha rest in peace, and her family find justice.

Wow. Very happy to hear that at least an arrest was made. Hopefully they will be able to get an answer from him about where she is.

I agree that it sounds like he has been on the run and living out of his car, I am assuming that is what took so long. Hope so anyway.

LE found the missing car back in September.
They processed it and immediately started looking for Williams.
He turned up in NY.
They got him.
Now let's see what happens with the rest of the story.
Where is Stepha Henry?

I'm curious as to what they found in the car that led le to arrest him for murder.
It was common knowledge that she had been in the car on the way to the club, so finger prints or hair would have been found for sure, but that doesn't spell murder.
Once again we're left with tidbits of the facts.
~
Prayers and condolances for Stepha and the Henry Family.....
