Any experts out there know if these are the same tires as from Stephanie's SUV? (link GMC takeoffs)

I wish I were tech-savvy enough to post the actual photo here...they're calling it silver, I believe it is technically chevy's "light pewter metallic," which is a warm silver. Another poster here described it as champagne, it's silver leaning towards gold. It's a very large, clunky vehicle by today's standards. It should be easy to spot, especially by law enforcement officers who know exactly what they're looking for, which makes it even more concerning that it hasn't been seen in the area. There is a photo of the vehicle in this article:

Thank You for the post with the color it's hard to know what's true with didn't info I also so another post saying Stephanie had green eyes and the other articles say brown

Maybe they are hazel. Hazel eyes can look both brown and green, depending on lighting conditions.

Interesting that this poster shows the rims to be "custom." Definitely not an expert here, but the rims in the pic you previously posted (post #241) appear to be identical to the ones on Stephanie's vehicle. Whoever did that poster did a wonderful job with detail on the vehicle. Would love for a wheel/rim enthusiast to weigh in on those rims as to how common they would be.

@Truman - looks like you were correct on the light pewter metallic color. :)

wow - this is quite the page - I'm adding to her media thread

they need to find this vehicle

Yes the page has a lot going on including a very detailed graphic on the vehicle - Photo with defining features called out.

Also of note: drone teams reportedly could see to the bottom of several of the water areas searched. Which I found interesting and very helpful for clearing those sites of interest.

Between LE and massive volunteer searches by air, drone, and foot, as well as some water searches by LE, it is really striking that the vehicle has not been found. I hope satellite help comes forward.

The family is reportedly stumped on why she may have headed south after the store (so no on the school event suggestion). But please note, after mentioning the tip and the high school a couple days ago, the family did not mention heading south on Narcoose in yesterday’s press conference. They focused on the Walmart as the last solidly confirmed location. Take from that what you will.

That's a great missing person's information poster, lots of information and pictures of her looking different ways and lots of details about the vehicle.

I wonder why they think the plates may have been swapped? Are they thinking she did that?

I think they just want people to keep that in mind that they should not be deterred if they think they see her car but it has different plates. If the car was abandoned/stolen, then a thief could have swapped plates. Also the vehicle hasn’t turned up on tolls by either her ez pass or license plate readers. So it’s certainly a possibility.

BBM - was that said in the press conference yesterday? I didn't get to listen to all of it - just a few comments played on the radio.

In light of where Tracey Rieker and Sally Smith were found, pond near her house and her storage unit, respectively, I really think they should check the water more than ever - and does the family have a storage unit? It is unbelievable that with all the cameras there is no video of her leaving Walmart

Re press conference yesterday: I don’t think the possibility of license plate being swapped was mentioned there. It is mentioned in the search posters in the group and at FindSteph.com It probably has been mentioned in past family press interviews when seeking help from the community. Yesterday’s press conference was almost exclusively focused on getting satellite image of her vehicle starting at the parking lot at Walmart to determine where it went or at least narrow the search area.

As far as I can tell, yesterday's press conference was not supported by LE. It was given by SH's husband, the guy who is leading the search with him, a man named Larry, and a retired detective. Just FYI.

Its very common when cars are stolen, especially in Florida, that the plates are changed with other plates to avoid detection. Happened with my mothers vehicle when it was stolen out other driveway in Florida last year.

Regarding obtaining satellite imagery, I had thought of that so much in the Delphi case with Abby & Libby. If they could have tracked local vehicles to the park and back. There are some geospatial imagery sites that do allow those with credentials to download recent scans, but not by specific date. Perhaps LE (HOPEFULLY) has access to that kind of data. But then it would open up the WHY it hasn’t been used in other cases. I hope more drone scans have been used. There’s a post up about her having a quarter of a tank of gas, so I assume they’ve done a map showing all of the potential locations. It would feel so helpful to have the LE GIS capabilities to help map these cases out!

You can get from point A to point B there without taking a toll road. We were there two weeks ago and were all over the area without taking a single toll road. I know the backroads, wanted to see the old sights and didn't want to pay tolls.

its possible she took an alternate route to avoid the toll road cameras. LE should take a look at cameras on nearby roads.

So we have a popular, long term (happily)? married woman with 3 boys she adores. She leaves the house with no mobile phone (some ppl don't take their phone everywhere, I don't) at approx 1 -1.30pm, leaving behind her in the house her teenage son and husband.

She takes her purse and drives a pretty big, noticeable car to a local cash point and withdraws 20 dollars (is that all she had/all she needed or was her bank account controlled by her husband and that was all she was allowed)? She was then filmed in a local store buying a bottle of vodka and a can of soda (still pondering the can of soda for a bottle of vodka)? Perhaps she didn't like straight vodka but with 1 can she could dilute it and then yeehahh I'm drunk and don't care how it tastes anymore? If she was an alcoholic I don't imagine her driving too far to sit/enjoy/escape for a short while or was she drinking whilst she was driving, just swigging it behind the wheel trying to get away from home and responsibilities forever?

Alot would come down to her frame of mind THAT day - I don't think if she wanted anything bad to happen and planned on going home she would have driven too far, alcoholics get bad press as people think they are out of control drunks with no cares in the world. They can also be very responsible people and can maintain jobs/their homelife ie functioning alcoholic which I believe she was.

Sorry if I have details wrong in this post - I guess I'm trying to post what she may have been going through THAT day
