Detectives with the Robbery/Homicide Unit have identified the deceased as Steven Jerald Bowen, 46, of St. Petersburg.

Bowen’s body was spotted in the waterway behind 7921 Boca Ciega Drive in St. Pete Beach by a resident who was fishing on the dock. Detectives say the death appears accidental.

Detectives are reaching out to the public for assistance in locating next of kin as they have exhausted all possible leads.
