WOW.Thank You so much for making this of Tammy. This is an age progression of my sister Tammy to age 48.I just started crying.I did not expect to do that.I guess I have always been convinced she was not alive any more.I hope so much she really is ok out there and looks like this and she is safe and Happy out there.If any one sees someone who looks like this(She could have shorter hair or different colored hair also.) Please call the CBPD and please let me know also.Please.She is beautiful in this picture.

She does look just like TLL. But her profile says that she's lived in the Shaver Lake (In the Sierra National Forest) area all of her life, and attended Sierra Elementary school, and Sierra High School.

Thats what I found suspicious. Many realtors may say that they've lived in a certain area for a certain amount of time. But I've never seen anyone mention that they've gone to the high school, let alone even mention going to an elementery school. If someone tells me that they've lived in small town Nebraska their whole life, then it would be assumed that the person went to small town Nebraska elementary and high school. Or a vocational school associated with the town. But for someone who's almost 50 to mention mention the elementary school she went to... well that stuck out to me as odd. Maybe it's the norm where she lives to list that on her profile??? I'm not sure. I can see a young 22 yr old putting that on their profile. But not a 48-49 yr old.

I've tried looking up the schools she went to so I could see if she's actually listed as a student. So far I can't find her. But I also haven't had the time to do some really good sleuthing though. Maybe this weekend I'll have done time to look more into the schools she says she went to.

Well,I don't know what to say I just found out my sister Tammy and I is mentioned in this book. I am please putting this here because this thread is mentioned and I do need to address this. I called Detective Christen McClure with the Cocoa Beach Police Department on my sisters case about this. I was pretty upset. She said she understands why I am upset.These are with the people the police will say I had trouble with.I will say the police will say I was never rude to any one. I do not want any more trouble.This lady Deborah Halber that wrote this book never contacted me or has spoken to me. The police on Tammy's case say they have never spoken to her. I just wish she would have verified this with the right sources. I do hope and pray she fixes this in her book that she was wrong.The police and everyone already know who I am am. I was verified as Tammy's sister over 18 years ago and a few times over the years. I have worked very hard to find out what happened to my sister for many years now. I pray in Jesus's name I have earned my respect trying to find my sister. Detective Christen McClure told me if she was asked she would verify who I am again. I please do not want a lot of discussion or rudeness about this ok? I am very upset about this. This was wrong.

im sure it was upsetting to see yourself and Tammy mentioned in this book and had no pre-knowledge of it. I'd be upset too.

but reading what was written about the 2 of you doesn't seem like she was a accussing you of anything.

Shes a writer and was writing a book. She starts off talking about a missing person in Flirida and how 3 years later, Tammy went missing too.

She wrote about you trying to find your half sister . And that on a certain sleuthing site, people started to question who you really are and what your motives are. But that a certain member was on your side and defending you. This member was the one who was looking for her missing foster sister and understood you and rallied for you.

the writer of the book goes on to talk about someone hacking into the website and changing peoples passwords to "Tami". That a fight broke out over that and accusations over who did it ran rampid.

The writer of the book isn't saying that you are not Tammy's sister. The writer of the book is merely stating what she found on sleuthing message boards. She's not saying that she knows you. She's not saying you're not who you are. She's just stating what she found/saw online.

yes, it would have been beneficial to you if she had also mentioned in the book that the police have verified who you are. I think she got off track with those comments when she started to talk about the website being hacked in to.

my suggestion would be to have someone not heavily involved in this case , read you the 2 pages that mention you and Tami. Then ask this person to interpret what they read to you. Maybe then you'll see another meaning to what was written.

aldo, the writer clearly states that this all happened back between 2005 - 2009.

That was 5 -9 years ago. A lot can change in that amount of time. And if anyone reading this book and hears Tammy's name for the first time and then googles it, they will see that you are a verified half sister to her according to the police.

I will say this and then I please do not want to talk about it any more. They were wrong and I would be just like to move on.The problem was in 2008 and only with one group of people.She was not correct about this starting in 2005. If you look you will see no trouble from any one before that and no trouble here at all on websleuths.Well, She never interviewed me or verified who I was and I feel it was a big deal. I did not appreciate her doing this at all.She never should have put this in a book with out my permission or talking with me. It was about me and my sister Tammy. I would have preferred not to be in a her book at all.She should have verified with police who I was and put that in her book. She left it hanging that I wasn't who I said I was. Detective Cooper with the CBPD and FDLE had already verified who I was to them at my request and I wasn't my sister Tammy. This was a big mess that should have never been put in a book.It did not show how any one was trying to help find out who these unidentified persons are at all. Carrying the mess and not the message.she should have a least talked to me to get my side of the story and so I could have led her to Detective Cooper so he could have verified who I was, The CBPD,FDLE and everyone already knew who I was,I was on the internet since about 2001 since the Doenetwork was formed. Why would the police just let me be out here on the internet if I wasn't who I said I was.She interviewed every one but me why is that? I would have preferred not to be in her book at all. I wish she would have talked to me. The very bottom line is these people were wrong and it was and is time to move on.

This thread on websleuths was put on under ms Suzanne as someone claiming to be Tammy's sister the people under the people characters in her book or people interviewed?.I was the only one not interviewed. Why is that?

What about the Tami Myers in California that looks just like Tammy Leppert and even has the name Tami Leppert as an alias. Have you told the police so that they can look into it??

I figured since I wrote that post over 2 weeks ago and you thanked me for the post, that you would have contacted the police that day.

I posted the pics and stuff to see if anyone agreed with me. Seemed like some people did. Including you since you thanked me for the post.

youre all over the internet making sure that people know that your Tammy's sister and that you won't give up until you find out what happened and to make sure anyone with anything lets you know because you work closely with the police on your sisters case.

I can see that.

I can also see why it would be taxing to have every lead to be bought about by a family member . Some leads dont pan out ,and after 17 years of those, a lead turned in my someone else might seem more important coming from a different source . It might not seem fair as every lead should be taken seriously but I am sure a fresh source might be more inspiring.JMO

Not to mention the whole ",this person suggested to me etc..etc.''. Hard to place value to someone elses thought from a second hand source if your working a 17 year old case.

Any Unidentified Jane Does found that match my sister,especially that do not have DNA or mtDNA on them.I want to know about.
