2 people missing from within a couple miles or less from the area the skeletal remains where found;

Sandra Prince http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34495&highlight=sandra+prince

Jennifer Marteliz http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56201&highlight=jennifer+marteliz

I have a feeling about Jennifer. If you look on a map of the crossroads she disappeared from 109th Ave/15th St. The remains where found exactly south of this point about 1 1/2 miles, straight down Rowlett Park Dr.https://www.google.com/maps/preview...83.804601!3d27.698638!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1

Do they know how old the bones are or if they are male or female yet?

They're saying it's going to take time to find out. University of South Florida anthropologists are going to be examining them is what I read.

Not too long ago some other remains were found, one of the mods posted it but I cannot find it anymore... also close to where Jennifer was. Anyone recall?

I know they where digging in Pennsylvania in 2012 after a tip but found nothing. I'll have to google and see. They also found remains off 1-75 or I-275 a couple years ago and they where identified as a teen who was missing for years.

Try the Hillsborough Co tag at the bottom. There are several UID listed, looks there are discussion threads for a few in that area.

TAMPA — Authorities have identified a set of human bones that was found scattered in the woods Dec. 22 near Sligh Avenue and Rowlett Park Drive.

A DNA test last month confirmed the bones were those of 54-year-old Stephen Craig Snipes, according to a report from the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner. Snipes, who lived in an assisted living facility on Nebraska Avenue, had been missing for several months.
