Update: Man's human remains found near Bowie, no confirmation of ID yet

Sheriff Marshall Thomas said they were working a crime scene where human remains had been found between the railroad tracks and highway. The body has been sent for autopsy by Justice of the Peace David Allen.

Remains are those possibly of a male subject, but no identification or cause of death have been determined.

The skeletal remains were found about 20 feet from the highway.

The first thought that came to my head on this was Caleb Diehl who went missing from Nocona, TX in the spring of 2015.

Montague County remains identified as investigation goes on in Caleb Diehl's disappearance

This individual was identified today through his tattoos. He is Christopher Nathan Cunningham of Bowie. He was never reported missing, but perhaps now he may finally rest in peace.
