Testing to determine if skeletal remains belong to former Robeson deputy's missing daughter

The dental records of a former Robeson County deputy’s daughter who has been missing since 2015 were sent to Raleigh this week to see if remains found earlier this week near Rex are hers.

It’s always so sad when skeletal parts are discovered out in the open (or anywhere else for that matter), because it brings to mind the fact the poor person has lain in that area, decomposing, all alone, for some time. None of us would choose that for anyone we know and love, or just plain *anyone*.

Very similar age and size too. So even if the whole body was there it would be too close to tell. Wow. I was pretty convinced this was going to be Sara but now...

The main difference I see is that Sara's case is much closer geographically. Dalia is missing from Ocracoke which is about 230 miles from Robeson County: Google Maps

It seems more likely this is Sara, but with the high crime in Robeson County it's possibly someone else from far away. Dalia's circumstances only say "She may be in the company of an adult male." Sounds like a trafficking or abduction situation. JMO.

Quite possibly, as Gardner mentioned I do hope it is Sara so the "family" can have closure. However, as in the Hania case, the locals seem to know alot more whats going on and are split on if this is her. Going back thru their crime logs, im sure there are accounts of many that are unreported though.

There's also Missing Person Case Diana Gonzalez missing from nearly Raeford, the next county over, and Kimberley Thrower Missing Person Case missing from Laurinburg about 30 miles away. Not sure whether either of them had braces but they're both braces age.

I don't think this is going to turn out to be Sara Graham. The location doesn't make sense for her case. There are so many better places to hide a body closer to where she lived. Places where she will never be found.

On the other hand, this location is close to Rt 95 and it would be an easy dump site for someone from out of town. Once Sara gets ruled out, we should probably look up and down the east coast for missing people with braces.

Locklear was a stowaway on an Amtrak train traveling from Charlotte to New York when he either fell or jumped from the train. He was decapitated, and the rest of his body was found more than 100 miles away in Enfield.

This says he was killed falling from a freight train, not Amtrak and it doesn’t mention that his head was missing when he was found.

how in the...... his head was 2 hours in the opposite direction from NYC right? how did it get there? it couldn't have got caught up on the Amtrak, unless a CSX may have passed during the incident and it got caught up on there?

ok I think I know what happened. I feel like he probably was on the freight train and fell or tried to jump off near the bridge in Robeson at which point he was decapitated, the body was prob caught up and traveled to enfield where it finally fell off. perhaps the Amtrak going by at the time it was found.
