The case of a St. Petersburg man accused of killing his 2-year-old son and the child’s mother in 2023 has been delayed by questions about his competence, which were exacerbated this summer when a psychologist appointed to evaluate him went on a European vacation before submitting her findings.

Ohiana Torrealday was subpoenaed to appear at the Pinellas County Justice Center Thursday morning for a hearing to explain why she didn’t comply with the court’s request to submit a report or communicate with lawyers about being on a sabbatical.
