Another local here (not new to WS but can't remember my old user name). I worked in child protective services in Jax for many years so I know the Ivy Street area well.

Multiple sources say #TaylorWilliams hasn’t been seen in weeks. Her mother reported her missing yesterday @ActionNewsJax

I'm slowly starting to wonder if mom might have some sort of mental illness. Something along the lines of a psychosis, which makes her believe her child was still at home until she reported her missing (while maybe that same psychosis made her harm her child weeks ago).

I mean, the having the water running in the bathroom, mentioning her daughter to the movers, reporting her missing and being cooperative with police might fit this scenario IMO.

Mental illness might also have to do with a very dirty house and maybe even having to move to a bad place in town.

I don't want to stigmatize mental illness at all, so I hope I don't hurt anyone by suggesting this. It just popped up in my mind as one of many possibilities, especially since psychosis can come in many different forms.

ETA: the Craigslist ad might also fit in this scenario, all IMO ofcourse.

My husband is Navy and works at the same base. I'd imagine if she were at the level of suffering hallucinations, someone at her job would have noticed? Mental health is a big topic in the military right now and they're under a microscope constantly.

"Not seen in weeks" ??
Where is the father in this?
Has LE spoken to the father? Has he been in Taylor's life?

Not seen by multiple sources in WEEKS?!

Yeah that's not good. Even if mom was too busy with the move to take her & Taylor to social events/to see friends/people, which would account for those individuals not seeing her, she's still a full time working mother, Taylor would have had to be babysat & therefore seen by SOMEONE while mom worked or in pre-K herself.....but not a peep about that either.

Not good. Not good at all.

Is there an msm link for the Craigslist ad? If not, we gotta delete it....

Do you know if they offer childcare on the base?

Yup, hallucinating might have caused her to harm her child, or hearing voices who tell her to harm her child.

Is there any way of knowing that mom is still working? Are we sure she is functionaling normally in her daily life, except for the move to a crime ridden area, which doesn't seem like a logical choice to make.

Well, I know for personal experience that some dads don't see or contact their kids for weeks, months or even years

I’m not sure what MSM means however it was just in the comment section of one of the media stories...
Thankfully it has been turned over to LE per the poster...

so worrying!

MSM is main stream media. those are the only links allowed plus LE official FB pages, tv stations FB and Twitters and reporters. No other social media etc until there is a POI named.

lot of things...

Unless she was on leave, which I haven't seen reported, she'd have been going to work or she'd be considered AWOL and they'd have had people from her command looking for her. Being active duty military, she has no choice but to go to work (again, unless she was on approved leave).

I hate that we see this often enough that you pretty much know how it's going to go as soon as you hear 'last seen at (very late o'clock)', and 'back door open'

Over and over and over again.
