Jmo but court records seem to support what the ex has said.

About some of the money issues maybe but about everything else who knows?Naturally most of us blame our ex for everything.

I did google it. One link said it is not technically illegal, but that the bank may have rules against it. If you put a wad of cash in a SDB and let's say there was a fire or a robbery, even if you had insurance, they might not have to cover it because you broke the rules. Plus tax evasion is obviously illegal. However, it stated it is not an actual crime to put cash in a SDB.

Then another link said it was illegal. So I still don't know, lol.

Hmmm, I didn't really research it, just went with the rules of my bank (which I read over a year ago), and I remembered because I didn't know it was illegal to take money out of circulation (thereby illegal to put it in sd box?).

Has this slow down started suddenly today? If so they might have gotten some kind of news today.

Im Pretty sure No new posts or reposts have been made or updates since the 24th! By loved ones or her workplace/Facebook websites! No asking for shares. Nothing! Tells me they heard from her or there's bad news! I find when we don't hear too much from LE that they usually know what is going on and just covering all their bases , crossing t's dotting i's! Abu are you participating tonight? Any updates?

I've done a little sleuthing on TW's Facebook and then a little more sleuthing... I noticed that a few of her friends attended the Festival International de Louisiane on September 11th! This particular person had also left TW a comment for her to call him a month earlier.

Festival acadiens is usually around september. So it might have been that instead of international. Those were the 2 big festivals when I lived there. Very different, but both so much fun

I read somewhere that TW grew up in Newtown, CT. I'm wondering if she has still has ties there. IF she was trying to disappear I can see someone as smart as her letting her last phone ping be in New Orleans and then head somewhere like CT to throw off the people looking for her! But because social media has slowed down alot with the last posts being on the 24th from anyone, and we haven't heard from Abu, it's making me think that she made contact or LE will be making arrest soon!

About the CELL Phone..why did you quote that?? Because exactly what I said was that she PURPOSEFULLY had the last ping hit in Nola and then head to CT to throw people off her trail. I guess I just assumed people would know by me saying last ping that that would be LAST time she used THAT CELL phone

I post with the facts we have! FYI I don't consider a snapshot from TW's Google account from gf sent to ex hubby and him tracing the IPv6 himself as FACT! I consider that heresay

Bigmike so if TW withdrew funds a few different times in increments less than 10 grand would it still be alerted to IRS/ treasury

Banks are required to report any transaction over 10k in a day, OR multiple transactions in any time frame when it appears that the customer is attempting to elude reporting procedures. Most of these reports from the banks are set up to be automatically triggered by their computer system. Hope that helps.

This was supposed to of been Friday morning, the day before she sent her son a text on Saturday, which was last time she was heard from... All that info was answered by Abu earlier in thread

It’s not a fact. It’s from the ex husband. Not saying he doesn’t have facts—just saying it was not from police.

The bank does not know what you put in a safe deposit box; however, it is illegal to put cash in a safe deposit box (unless it is something like a coin collection). It is illegal to take US currency out of circulation. (You can look up rules about what you can/cannot put in a sd box.) This doesn't stop people from doing it though. Just means if you get caught doing it, it's a crime.

I'm asking because I'm a little confused about why there is no description of what Taylor was last seen wearing. If someone saw her getting into an Uber, they would have noticed at least something about how she was dressed. I don't remember all the little details of what has been posted, so if this has already been explained, my apologies for missing it.

The ping being discussed was tracked to Reserve, LA and not to NOLA.

I'm the ex-husband in question. Jethro, I'm impressed by your reasoning - it's spot on for the most part. Here is what you are missing:

1) Taylor has a well documented history of fraud and deception. As you may have picked up from the court documents, she was caught lying many times in the final hearing about the nature of her income, and defied the court's order to replace the money she withdrew. When that money was un-frozen after the trial, she withdrew all of it (12JUN17). It's highly unlikely that this is anything but an attempt to abscond with that money. She knows this is criminal-level contempt and isn't keen to appear in court to face up to what she's done. That's why she filed that letter about going to help her family in Irma's path. She just wanted to roll the date to the right as she finished the process of stashing the money somewhere. And indeed - she was last seen on Friday with backpacks containing $60k in cash and cashiers checks. Next court date is fast approaching - when that threat is gone, she'll probably resurface shortly thereafter.
2) Taylor voluntarily sent Drake to live with me last year. To her great credit (which the court recognized in the final judgment), she realized that he wasn't doing well in her care, and sent him up to live with me. She then tried to claim that sent him to me for medical reasons...but that didn't quite hold up in court. Further, the Guardian Ad Litem's report was conclusive for reasons I won't get into in public.
3) Taylor last contacted Drake on Saturday night. Her girlfriend (with whom she has been living - and who appears to be a sweet and genuine person) provided me an IP6 address - it plots in Reserve, LA...a cell tower on I-10.


Now - a quick word of admonishment. As those of you who read the court documents know, I am a special operations officer. That means I'm in the business of piecing together intelligence to figure out what's really happening. Taking stabs in the dark with fragments of information is dangerous - please refrain from doing so. I applaud Jethro for his analysis of this situation, and I encourage the rest of you to follow suit. Read all the court documents. Get a sense for who this person is. If you look at Taylor and see an LEO, mother, and divorced wife...you are missing the most critical information and drawing the wrong conclusions. I understand that most of the critical information is not available to you - and I'm not about to air her dirty laundry in public. This is doubly the case because Occam's Razor still suggests that she's not able to be found because she doesn't want to be found. She has every reason to avoid court and continue to try and hide that money. Now that this has blown up out of proportion to what she expected, coming back is even harder.

I hope I'm right - the alternative, that Drake's mother is in serious trouble somewhere - is not what anyone wants to see. My goal is for her to rebound and defeat what demons she's currently facing. I want to be able to have an amicable, cooperative relationship with her and have her help in raising Drake. I appreciate that y'all are working towards this goal as well - please do continue to try and find her. I welcome any questions you may have - Jethro, please take lead on sorting through the ones that may be relevant and reach to me directly.

A couple of excerpts from the article:

"Nancy Murchison said she hasn't heard from her daughter since September 7, 2017."

"She hasn't communicated with anyone. All of her friends, all of her family we're all just puzzled on what has happened to her," explained Murchison."

My point is that if it is factual information, that Taylor was seen or heard from after Thursday, September 7, 2017, I think that both the news article and the missing poster information would have been edited with the correct date(s).
