Ashley McArthur has been arrested on a charge of first-degree homicide in the case. Pensacola Police Department spokesman Mike Wood was able to confirm McArthur and Wright knew each other, but deferred further information to ECSO as the case is now in their jurisdiction.

ABM already had a larceny charge from August hanging over her head? For what? What would happen if the box was empty, the money gone? TW wouldn’t be able to prove it was really ever there, right?

Yep, the premeditation is the part that is the most unbelievable, to me. I just posted (well, post 378, so a couple hundred ago) what if the friend had already removed and used the money. Nothing would have prevented friend from taking that money. It sounds like that is probably what happened, but the premeditation must come from the fact that she had a plan to kill Taylor whenever the day came to get the money back. This "friend" just ruined her own life and so many people around her over some money that will not even help her, if shes convicted.

My heart goes out to Abu, Fleur, Nancy, the friend here (sorry, forgot the screen name), but mostly sweet baby. It is actually helpful that he was already living with dad, but through his life, he will have so many moments of just empty loss. Nothing can ever fix that. And some monster placed that in him. It was unnecessary. I am glad Taylor was found. It is one piece that will no longer have to be questioned, even though I know it is not a piece that makes anything less painful. I am so sorry for the loss

I'm heartbroken for her loved ones. At first I had thought (hoped vs the other possibility) that she had left for a bit. Needed a breather from life. It happens. It would have been ok, really. But this. I'm so sorry, Taylor.

The phone ping was in Reserve, LA not quite to NOLA but I was thinking maybe someone drove towards NOLA and threw the phone in the water. However, later we found out that same ping could be for a cell tower in Gulf Breeze, FL or Baton Rouge. Same idea applies. I think it was most likely in Gulf Breeze and the friend kept her phone for a few days to send some text messages and then after Taylor had been reported missing the friend threw it off the 3 mile bridge. Just my theory. Wonder if the friend's phone pinged from the exact same towers at the same time as Taylor's phone?

I thought the same thing! She shows she was in new orleans (and metairie) between then and now. I wonder if it was true or if she was reviewing like she was here, just to throw something off.

I'm still just stunned at the lack of soul a person has to have to premediate the murder of a woman with a child and a life. And call yourself her friend!

Very few people who sell for MLM companies make a lot of money at it, IMO. Most the people I know who tried to get into MLMs only did it to get the products at a discount or they were lucky to break even in what they sold. This is key because it seems like Ashley has major money issues (previous arrest record) and had a big motive to steal Taylor's money. JMO.
