If they can determine race and age then it is unlikely the body has been there all that long. If there was identification found with the body there may be a presumption based on the identification and it is possible the body has been there longer.

Yes, agree. Usually if the age comes from an identification card, however, they give an exact age not an estimated age range.

LE has not named a POI or suspect.

Please do not suggest a theory that outright accuses someone specific of harming Taylor.

Additionally, Taylor's friends, family, and boss are off limits to sleuthing.

Please do not bring information found on any of their social media pages into the discussion here.

Another unidentified body found-- this one is a couple hours from Pensacola, towards Tallahassee. The description made me think of Taylor:

:(

Is this article referring to the same body found?
Pensacola investigators working to identify a body found washed up near the Port of Pensacola. Police say a kayaker found the body yesterday on the rocks along the shore. According to the Pensacola News Journal, the body was pulled from the water about 2:00 PM Thursday at the 17th Avenue Boat Ramp. Neither the identity nor the gender of the person has been revealed.

No. Two different bodies. No identity on either one yet. We discussed the one in your link a few pages back in this thread. IMO, the one found in Pensacola Bay is more likely to be a missing man last seen in Wayside Park-- see Santiago's thread here: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...l-Martin-24-Pensacola-3-Oct-2017-*Endangered*
But since we don't know a gender on that one it's good to keep an eye on it in regards to Taylor's case as well.

No, one was found in Pensacola yesterday and the other one was found in Hosford this morning.

Edit: (Ooops...we posted at the same time, G. )

Oops, sorry, I haven't checked Taylor's thread in a couple of days and didn't go back far enough to catch up. Thanks for clarifying!

No worries. The one found in Pensacola Bay really concerned me at first that it could be Taylor because one of the possible last ping locations for her phone was Gulf Breeze, FL. Gulf Breeze is just across the bridge from the bay. Wayside Park however, where Santiago was last seen, is right there: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/17t...7703311d36!2m2!1d-87.1638574!2d30.3571438!3e0

While on the subject of phone pings, I really wish we had some mapping exerts on this thread. We don't have much to map yet (can't sleuth most locations) but I know some members are excellent at figuring out where phone towers are located in an area. If anyone knows how to do that, please chime in. If Taylor's phone pinged in Gulf Breeze when the last text was sent, which cell phone towers could it have been pinging off of? Is it possible to ping off a Gulf Breeze tower while still in Pensacola? Or does that ping indicate the phone had to cross the bridge?

I just noticed Taylor's thread is listed under trending stories. Thank you, mods! :loveyou:
Now if only we could get more media coverage. I see a lot of lurkers on the thread tonight, please join the conversation. :lurk::greetings:

I took a week or so away from WS so I am still catching up here. So my apologies if this has been discussed earlier m, as I'm still catching up.

First off I came back to this thread hoping TW had been located. Next, it appears as though most of what I'm seeing has not changed much. I'm happy to see another VI here. Here is my issues presently. I am still so undecided as to what happened. I will say there are some very important things being tossed around about her last known sighting. I am very concerned about here supposed movements. I am also concerned about the moving timeline as well. However; this is just from my point of view. When moving, unless I had a very limited time to get out of a place, I usually weed out things I don't need as I am packing. Not a truck full of items of and I sort out there. Or, I put things I absolutely need, and label as such. Other items would be put in storage until I can determine what other things I need et cetera. What if the friend needed the truck returned within a day or two. Everyone is different and I understand that. I just wonder if their was an niggling issue during the move.
Saying she has her own business, was she currently involved in an active case? Have those people been contacted?

If she was still working full time as our VI has stated ( that is one reason it was taking longer to unpack the truck) did she not contact them when she "decided to take a few days off)? She would be taking a risk not contacting her clients as to the time period she would not be available. By the sounds of both VI's, this would be out of character for her.

I also wonder why she would be in such a state of mind (crying etc) and not go to the girlfriend to talk things out with? Especially if the friend was not going to be around. (Per VI) friend went to run errands while she was horse riding. If my friend was distraught, I never would have left them alone. Also, for sure would watch where she was headed to in the Uber.

Again, I understand many do things differently, but some of these things are just not sitting well. Okay, back to my corner!

That's a good point. Fleurde said Taylor made breakfast that morning and seemed fine when she left. I wonder if something happened later that upset her.

Can we go back to TW's car being "removed for safekeeping"? Were is this car being stored? By the police? Because since when did police start agreeing to just store cars because someone asks them to??

When have any of you heard of police removing a car for safekeeping? What was the situation, if anyone has any real life examples? I am still confused on this point.

It's very unusual, IMO. Also when I asked fleurde what happened to Taylor's possessions that were in the moving truck, she declined to answer. She would only say the truck was emptied and returned to the friend. Did the police take Taylor's possessions "for safekeeping" as well?

It sounds as if LE had no evidence a crime had been committed which would have allowed them to get a search warrant. Since fleurde and others were concerned about possible foul play, LE probably removed it to preserve potential evidence/prevent tampering with evidence in case they find evidence of foul play down the road.

The VI said TW was “couch surfing” before this move, so I would think her belongings may have been in storage somewhere previously. Also, as both VI’s shared, the household goods from the marriage were due to be divided. If these were said household goods, that may be why Fleurde was vague in her answer about the current location of TW’s belongings. MOO.

Not sure, but the bridge between Pensacola and Gulf Breeze is 3 miles long. Locals call it the 3 Mile Bridge.

Agreed her answer was vague. I asked if the items in the truck were the HHG to be divided and this was Fleude's answer:
They had not divided the HHG still. There was a meeting for that on the 11th Sept... She was a no show as she was missing at that point. The truck contained her belongings (just minor miscellaneous stuff, but I can't be certain what was "theirs")

Maybe the belongings in the Truck are what was supposed to go to the EX?
She left it there.
