Teen arrested for allegedly poisoning his mother's milk with bleach, Volusia deputies say

On April 19, deputies say they arrested a 17-year-old boy after his 77-year-old mother poured a glass of milk from the refrigerator, took a sip, and had an "intense chemical taste."

He's got to be adopted. Nobody has a newborn at sixty. I wonder when he was adopted, and what issues he had in childhood. Sixty plus year olds aren't generally chosen to be adoptive parents unless it's an interfamily adoption, or the child has complex needs that make a traditional placement very difficult or impossible.
