Suicide would be a good reason but hopefully there’s video cameras on the ship that shows his location and what he was doing when he was spotted last.

I am a close relative of this young man. We would greatly appreciate it if anyone who was on this cruise--or knows someone else who was--who had seen him or had any interaction with him would come forward. We are aware he was intoxicated and had been drinking and dancing in a nightclub on the ship before the incident. It's rumored that he was being bullied by others at the bar. Please if anyone has any information about these final moments, the family would be forever grateful.

Mother of Maryland man who jumped off Carnival cruise ship makes desperate plea for answers | Daily Mail Online

The mother of the Maryland man is believed to have jumped from a Carnival cruise ship has made a desperate plea for answers about her sons disappearance off the coast of Florida.

Is there anyone that was aboard the Carnival Cruise victory that my son Thomas (Alex) McElhany was on that met, saw or interacted with him , that might answer some questions,' Allison McElhany wrote on Twitter Sunday.

Wyatt later reported that cameras on board confirmed McElhaney went overboard, though it has not been definitively determined if it was intentional.
