It concerns me that there isn't much news in relation to what she was last seen wearing, nor that none of her friends are speaking out about anything. I think much more is known and for fear of Tiffany's safety not much is being disclosed. I even wonder what time of day she was reported missing. It is odd to me that a full blown investigation was launched being she is an adult and normally the police would say that an adult has a right to go missing. Yes, much more must be known. JMHO

I did about 3 miles on the beach side of Ft Pickens. I was with a couple who live in a condo right there at the parking lot where Tiffany's car was found. They are sure that it was not park there all week. There is also a story that she met with someone in the afternoon to sale some of her paintings. Not sure if that is true. Of course we all have our theories. I think she went into the park and someone staying at the camp ground did something. I heard her sun glasses were found on the sound side and I dont know if that are true are not but the camp ground is on the sound side.
I found two pair of sunglasses, Flip flops and a few other things that probably didnt mean anything. They are having a candle light vigil tonight. I am not going but if you want to help please go on facebook and post questions on our local newspaper and news station. PNJ.com and WEAR tv3 because they do not seem to be taking this seriously!
OH the damage on the front of her vehicle. No one seems to be sure when that happened. I hope we find her soon! This truly is a wonderful place to live and I hate to have people disappear!

Blame it on our news station and news paper. They dont want to focus on local stories so much! Drives me crazy!

Does anyone know what time the picture was snapped of Tiffany's car crossing the bridge? How much time elapsed between her leaving school and crossing the bridge? Long enough to have done something else, or directly after leaving school?

I hate to think that something bad might have happened to this young lady. She certainly knows how to get the most out of life.

From facebook I believe that her boyfriend just moved out of state in August.

I am grateful that other people here think couch surfing may not be the safest thing to do! My younger sister who is in her mid twenties and her friends all do it and I have told my sister I don't think it's safe for her to do. She said its perfectly safe and that I watch too much discovery ID (which may be true:blushing:). I don't think couch surfing had anything to do with Tiffany's disappearance since the facebook Q&A says she hasn't logged in to the site since June 30th. Tiffany reminds me a lot of my sister and I hope she is safe and just needed some time to herself.

Something to consider regarding old fort sites.

A worker was mowing grass a few years back at Ft. Mifflin along the Delaware River in Philadelphia. Suddenly he disappeared from sight and the mower was left sitting and running. He had fallen down an old shaft that was the entrance to an old cell. The wooden trap door in the ground had been covered over with dirt and had finally rotted enough to break.

A number of old forts have tunnels and air vent holes, some original and some added during WWII for various reasons. This could be yet one more possibility to keep an eye out for during ground searches.

WJHG.com out of Panama City showed up and took video, pictures and interviewed people. As did WKRG.com out of Mobile. Our local station did not show up to cover the search. Very said!
Since no one is covering this story local no one is asking the cops what they have. I havent heard what time her vehicle went over the bridge.
As far as holes to fall in at Ft. Pickens, It has weathered hurricanes, campers, boy scout, hiking groups etc. There are people that have climbed all over the place. There are some old concrete bunker things but the doors are off of them and it would be really easy to search. Now the brush and bushes are another matter. Tough going but I do believed they were searched on Sunday along with the other end of the beach at Portofino

Sounds like the SAR Managers have been thorough in their planning. Thanks for the update on the vents, tunnels and bunkers.

Is there a map that shows exactly where her car was found? I confess that I thought this was a small barrier island with a fort on it. Now that I am looking at Google Maps, it is huge. Knowing exactly where her car was found would help me re-calibrate my theories. I am also a little fuzzy about when the car ended up in the lot. The day she went missing, or one or more days after she went missing?

BBM - got to hope they are going thru all her social media contacts, phone records etc... Be interesting too if there are surveillance video of places around where she worked and left early... maybe that's gone by now... surveillance is so important in cases these days...

so glad to see increased media attention! There have been three other articles within the last hour or so (they are all repeats of the local report so nothing new) but good nevertheless as it is getting her name out there!

And if (if possible) if the dogs were air scent or ground scent. It makes a difference.

Hi, Trackergd --

I'm a local and this is a great map of P'Cola Beach http://www.visitpensacolabeach.com/pdfs/pensacola-beach-map-2012.pdf It's funny you think it's huge, cuz I think it's small, though I moved here from Miami Beach :)

If you look at the west end part of the map, her car was found in the parking lot right on the left hand-side immediately before Ft. Pickens. I was unclear which side of the road, but her FB page says Chicken Bone Beach, which is on the Gulf side. The parking lot is mere feet from the Ft. Pickens entrance. She would have driven over the Bob Sikes bridge and made a right on Ft. Pickens Road.

AFAIK, there is no time that her car (license plate) was recorded going over the Bob Sikes bridge, except that it was Friday evening. If she left work at PJC a little before 5pm and got on 110 @ Airport and drove directly to the beach, she would have gotten there in ~20 minutes (if there were no broken down or stalled cars on the 3 mile bridge). At least, that's how long it would take me, but I tend to drive fast :)

I don't know what type of dogs were used, but do want to note that Brad from KlaasKids lives locally, which is extremely fortunate.

HTH and let me know if you have any more questions. :blowkiss:

Tiffany Daniels car was found in this parking lot but camera's above the lot only captured the license plate, not who was in the vehicle. Investigators say Daniels cell phone and bicycle were both found inside her vehicle.

well, I would just throw in my two cents and say that it was really premature to say no foul play is suspected when it is out of her nature to vanish like this :-(

Strange about leaving her cellphone in the car.... is that an area where there's no reception? Did it need to be charged? Was what she was wearing prevent her from carrying it (swimsuit?)... Otherwise, don't understand it...
