Agreed. Disturbed by the development with the RSO but then also don't want to be distracted by what could be a coincidence - interesting that it seems to be kept out of the press. Really would like to know if this box of clothes she picked up was found in the car or at her residence, or is missing. Also curious about the keys to the unlocked car. Seems to me if you're a perp leaving it to be stolen, you just leave them in it...

It's always a concern when someone reports missing clothing... more so if that's the last person known to have seen her. But, could be as he stated...

I have not read the entire thread but what if she didn't pick any clothes up?What if she got there and something happened to her.

I think that is certainly a possibility. I'm still new and trying to get the hang of TOS, but I hope LE is looking into anyplace she may have gone that day during or after work, and looking to connect all the dots. If she did pick up those clothes, they should've been found somewhere. If it was a big box, it might've given a bad actor an opening to offer assistance and then who knows...

Really hoping with Labor Day weekend that would increase the beach traffic in the area and we might learn more.

We don't know what the clothing she was supposed to have picked was, or how big of a box was taken. Was it clothing to be worn that night or taken to be cleaned?
No trace of it nor an empty box as far as I've read.

I agree that a daytime abduction is unlikely. One thing I thought I had taken a pic. of (but, I guess, I didn't) is the sno cone truck. It is parked on the far side of the parking lot across from Ft. Pickens Road, just before the entrance to Ft. Pickens (directly across from the bathrooms). If you look at pic. #8, it would be in the far left of the parking lot across the street. I don't know what their hours are, but I think they have always been there every time I go down that way.

I really wish we had confirmation of what time her car was spotted going over the toll (the first pic. is the toll plaza).

I live near this area or within 50 miles of it.
Fort Pickens brings back bad memories about 25 years ago my nieces best friend then only 17 (I think) was murdered there....by her boy friend...

But wanted to mention this..... maybe because of the location FBI could join in the search and investigation as they did 25 years ago in the other case.

I've been following Tiffany's thread since day one, but have yet to post on it. She was such a natural beauty and seems to be very intelligent, artistic, and well-rounded. I really hope something is found out soon. lease:

I feel the exact same as you do, Sin. I always have at least one thing that I'm confident happened in the cases I've followed...but this one is perplexing to me. I really just don't know either. There seems to be so many possibilities..but after seeing the pictures one of the locals posted (thank you, by the way, to whomever posted those!), it's such an odd place to disappear while it's still light outside. But as we all know, anything's possible and terrible things can happen with no witnesses within seconds..heartbreaking

This case scares me to death. I have 2 beautiful daughters in college down there. They are aware of this young lady's situation ....and I have cautioned them to be extra careful. Still...I am so worried about my girls.

I hope Tiffany is found alive and well, but I am afraid that something awful has happened to her.

The picture of the parking lot is very narrow like just a parking strip...you can park on the left or right in a one way direction it look like to me??

I can not understand how her car could sit there for 10 days day and night and not have raised a red flag ....

Wasn't her car on some BOLO list???

Any officer who covered this area would circle around in this parking area if they didnt cover Fort Pickens and didnt enter the park if on patrol...

This leaves me thinking was the car somewhere else as the neighbors have stated.

It seems there was only 1/3 of an inch of rain that day and that the winds were from the south at less than 3 mph....this would seem that the waves on the beach driven by wind would be minimial that afternoon.

Here is a description of the parking area

Fort Pickens Rd (south of Fort Pickens Rd, at Fort Pickens Area gate entrance). Daily 24-hours. This out of the way beach is located just before the Fort Pickens gate, and is one of the best beaches on the island. It has restrooms, lifeguard protection, ample parking, good waves, lots of white sand and shells, and has far fewer people than the busy Casino Beach. Make sure not to cross into the Fort Pickens park boundary; the shoreline there is off limits due to nesting shorebirds. Walking the shoreline further to the west will lead you into Gulf Islands National Seashore property. Beware of nesting bird areas and stay out of those areas. However, the shoreline is not otherwise closed to visitors. Free.

I noticed that the astronomers are going there this saturday from sunset to 10 PM...

Since they were thereand had star gazing during the time the car was suppose to be in the parking lot....and left late after or when the park closes....that would be a good group to ask if anyone noticed Tiffany's car on the parking lot.

Sounds like it would be cloudy, maybe misty, and empty, no? Perfect conditions for attacking someone, no? But who would be out there just waiting, if no one was there...

I would think that LE would question a car sitting in an empty parking lot for 10 days. Question is...if it were elsewhere first, who moved it?

Are the toilets near where her car was found "flush" or "pit"? I have seen both in parks.
