Missing Pensacola woman’s car found abandoned

Thinking about the box of cloths.

She leaves early to get the box of cloths and look around for anything else that may be hers, an "event" occurs and the car is driven to where it was found by "others" and left since the "others" know enough about her normal activities to put the car in a spot that will suggest accidental drowning.

Now this "event" could be either:

A. Ran off with EXBF's roommate
B. Met with foul play with EXBF's roommate or someone else there at the time (roommate's friend(s), building maintenance man, building manager, etc).

This scenario would explain a lot. Since the EXBF's roommate is not a victim, I feel comfortable enough to float this scenario...unless the mod's have a problem with it.

Here leaving early from work on that fateful day strongly suggests she was meeting someone and had plans.
I hadn't thought about someone purposely placing the car as you mentioned Tackergd as a ruse to make it look like she when for a swim in the ocean and she got swept away. It makes allot of sense now that I think about it... be interesting to know if any prints were found or if her vehicle was wiped clean..

Forgive me if this info has already been discussed as I'm certain I have missed some of the posts in this thread.. I know many were very curious as to when her car had been abandoned there at the beach since it wasn't located/found until 8 days after her disappearance..

According to the discussion on her official missing fb its stated that the car had been there the entire time, as in it was there from Monday evening, August 12.. This discussion can be found under the FAQ admin post/comments..

They know the car crossed over the toll bridge the evening of the 12th, but there are a lot of places it could've gone between that toll bridge and where it was found, parked, 8 days later. From what I've read on www.facebook.com/findtiffany there was a local resident in the apartments who swore the car hadn't been there for a week before it was found, although it is possible it was and wasn't noticed.

So while we know for certain that it passed through that toll both on the evening of Aug 12th, that's it. It was a license plate camera, so no idea who was in the SUV, driving, etc. Could have gone anywhere after that, even back off the "island" area via another bridge without a toll booth camera, I think.

Right. The box of clothes aspect, really all we know is that there was a box of clothes she was supposed to pick up from her bf's house (where he no longer lived, having moved to Austin), and the roommate noticed that box was gone shortly after she disappeared, the supposition being that she picked it up during a time he wasn't at home.

Anything else about that box - size, contents, if it was found or not - hasn't been mentioned in the press. Hopefully LE knows or has investigated it.

This is a big RED FLAG for me.
I do not think this will have a happy ending I hope and pray im wrong!

Merely relaying what was stated in the discussion on Tiffany's missing Facebook regarding the vehicle having been there since the evening of the 12th

I understand that as far as we, the public are concerned that we have no evidence of the exact movements of Tiffany's vehicle..

Her boss might have a clue about this - was she happy/excited about leaving early, as one might be who is looking forward to doing something.. Or was did she seem anxious, tense, nervous, etc..

Wonder if she got any phone calls at work on that day? Might be something there, a call that prompts her to want to leave..

Did she have a friend at work with whom she had lunch with, breaks with, etc... would think if she were happy about something coming up she might have mentioned it..

I keep thinking what if she was meeting someone ( perp) at the beach... parks next to them and jumps into their car to talk with just her keys...without getting her phone or purse.... then they abducted her.

So now we have a late season tropical system, TS Karen, predicted to head towards the Pensacola area. I know these storms, the higher tides and wave action can sometime uncover things in the shifting sands of barrier islands. Maybe some new evidence will be uncovered.

Your mention of "People Do Not just drop off the face of the earth!" brings to mind the Amy Ahonen case where her abandoned car was found with her things in it by water (river in her case) nearby.

We have covered about all the possible scenarios on this one. If we knew what LE knew, we might be in a better position.

It would be helpful if a family member were to join and post additional detailed information and answer questions. It would help us cull the theory list a bit.

I am stuck on the box of cloths and if she ever made it to her XBF's apartment or not to pick them up and if that was the reason she left work early.
