GUILTY FL - Tricia Todd, 30, Hobe Sound, 27 April 2016 #2

The domestic abuse (for which he was NOT arrested) happened on a military base. There's the reason why he wasnt arrested.

and I LIKE this guy. Finally, someone showing the outrage we are all feeling, and I do believe he will do EVERYTHING he can to see that justice is served. It appears Mr. Williams may have just met his match.

YES! I like him too. He could not stress how this case was so close to never being solved! HE referenced the mother of another victim (the little girl - her name escapes me) that still hopes her daughter will walk through the door alive.....

Did anyone else understand that all the documents relating to this case will be released? It sounded like the gentleman in the presser (I did not catch his name - Assistant DA) said we would get to read everything that went into this case.

Also, I think we had a websleuther there... lol! The one who was asking all the questions. God bless her!

Assistant DA said he will put the man who did this on a slow bus to death.....

Prayers for Tricia's family and Tricia's daughter. Tricia's family was there! I'm praying they are able to bring the rest of Tricia's remains home too, but they do have answers. Like heartgoesout stated, that is very important for the family.

What does that even mean? It's 2nd degree murder.

Florida has the Sunshine Law concerning case records. (I learned about this following Lonzie Barton's case.)

A chainsaw.

Sick.

...and premeditated.

God I hope they can up the charges. I understand the family just wanting her home but this guy needs to be bought down and that smirk wiped from his face permanently IMO.

I'm not sure because I don't know if death will be on the table ever. The reporter mentioned that the military will also punish him, dishonorable discharge. A good poster posted about this a few pages earlier in the thread. I'll try to find and bump. It's very interesting. Then a lawyer was commenting that the Judge would make the decision, but he only mentioned LWOP as an option. I'm very curious to watch how it ends up being prosecuted and the ultimate penalty

:tyou: PerfectingPink! Definitely a must read!

Oh Wow! I forgot about Pam Bondi being Florida's Attorney General. I really like her.

From your Link PerfectingPink:

"Florida began its tradition of openness back in 1909 with the passage of Chapter 119 of the Florida Statutes or the “Public Records Law.” This law provides that any records made or received by any public agency in the course of its official business are available for inspection, unless specifically exempted by the Florida Legislature. Over the years, the definition of what constitutes “public records” has come to include not just traditional written documents such as papers, maps and books, but also tapes, photographs, film, sound recordings and records stored in computers."

Looks like we may get to see Williams' confession?

:BUMP:
That's if his behavior results in his serving 85% of the sentence, provided the AG sticks with the current deal. When he's served his civil sentence, he'll be turned over to the military for sentencing under the UMCJ. For premeditated murder, the minimum sentence is life in prison. It does call for life in prison or death, but a US soldier hasn't been executed under the UMCJ since 1961. Between civilian and military justice, odds are he'll be in prison for the rest of his life.

Here's the post by Jen Darme (thank you) about military justice. The Assistant DA was very concerned with no body, and a trial, Williams could walk away with only a manslaughter sentence.

I originally thought perhaps the liquid in the container was gasoline since it can burn the skin - I imagine it could do a lot of damage if left soaking in it. But now it seems perhaps the gas he bought was for the chainsaw.

:thud: Where did he get a chainsaw? I think he killed Tricia after she returned from Publix. I need to look at timelines again. Maybe he dumped Tricia after he put her in her car and then he did the rest of his running around in his car?

Welcome to WebSleuths! Sorry for jumping off your post. The chainsaw is hard to think about. We didn't hear that last night. How do you tell a family their daughter was cut up with a chainsaw?

I was thinking the same thing regarding time, but she was still posting on her journal at 11:30, so it couldn't have happened right after Publix. Do we know for sure where she was posting from? Maybe she never went home after Publix and his midnight text was a part of his story. And he was out digging while she was at the b&b with F. Or based on video footage, is that disproven (when her/his car was seem coming and going)?

I'm going to assume (hope) that they can and will add the maximum to the neglect charge, as well as abuse of a corpse and whatever else they can nail him with. I can't imagine the emotional life TT led, her daughter must have brought her such joy and comfort. :(

I need to research it more, but my understanding was that if the judge tosses the plea deal because he didnt uphold his end (and lied over & over & over), the charges can be upped to 1st degree (premeditation)....which carries the death penalty.

So his final version from the arrest document and video timeline.

0000 - Per SW, he sent TT a text to come to the b&b.
0110 - Video of TT car leaving b&b. Neighbor confirms. Per SW TT body is in back seat. He planned to take her to her home. Video supports this, but returned to b&b instead.
0123 - TT cell phone connection terminated. Video of TT car making U turn near her home.
0129 - Video of TT car returning to b&b. Neighbor confirms return.

0142 - Neighbor says SW asked for a gas can.
0148 - SW moves TT car to get his and leaves in his car to get gas. Video of him at gas station. He returns back at b&b.

0204 - Video of TT car leaving b&b second time. Neighbor confirms. TT body still in car.
0215 - Neighbor retreats inside for the night.
time? SW returns TT car to her residence with keys still in ignition parking it in an odd spot.
0441 - Video of SW walking north away from TT home. 3.6 mile distance.

4/25

4/26
2130 - ER visit
2230 - Publix visit
2330 - last post made to journal <modsnip>

any theories on how he pulled this off? He does appear strong and I have seen holes dug quite fast. But that's still a lot of legwork to happen in such a small window. I saw in an article (or maybe it was the arrest affidavit) that his stay at the b&b was from 4/25-27. So he had a portion of the 25 and most of the day on 26. Do we know when he first had F in his custody that day? Can anyone add to the timeline?

How in the world did this 🤬🤬🤬 kill, dismember, find container(s)!, dig 3 foot hole(s)! and bury her in two hours? NO WAY! I don't care who you are! And if he did, this was COMPLETELY Premeditated!
IMOO, MOO, all that good stuff
What a MONSTER!

I think he had been preparing for this right when he got back in town. He already had the spot picked out and the holes dug. And he already purchased acid and the containers.. JMO but I believe that is the only way he could have accomplished this.

This is what my understanding is as well. Of course, my understanding is also coloured by my bright red hope.

I believe he was answering a theoretical question asked by press and answered with "if a judge ruled plea bargain terms were not met by SW then the charges would be upped to 1st degree and SW would then be on slow bus to death." Meaning he'd most def would be seeking death penalty in case.
Again though this was a theoretical...
