Okay, no tweets (as per usual) have come through so am guessing we're done for the day. Special thanks once again to, scmom for keeping us all posted with what happened in the courtroom. Again.. :yourock: See you all tomorrow! :seeya:

Ok, this witness was Mr. Okins girlfriend. She testified to essentially the same thing he did. Last witness for the day. Tomorrow morning at 9:30. No court on Friday. Next witness, Anna Cox, will present a 19 slide Powerpoint tomorrow.

I've been watching discussion about this trial on LawNewz while getting ready (which will be posted later). Interesting...discussing the Time Line after the last witnesses and if AM will testify. Would be interesting to hear everyone's take on this.

Do you think it would benefit AM to take the stand?

No, it would open him up to all kinds of questioning and all this evidence against him. It's up to him though...look what just happened in the Jeffrey Willis trial!

What do you think?

I sort of like it when a defendant thinks he's smarter than everyone else.
No, I don't think it would benefit him. What could be his explanation for staying in the house after all four adults were killed?

I think the boyfriend was killed first with hammer, AM got his gun & shot Megan. Then I'm confused after Okin heard 4 shots about 11:45-12:00.

What do you think?

NO idea why he stayed there except for he was trying to sell off stuff to get cash. He left those dead bodies in the house before moving them too!

I think Nicholas Leonard would have been the greatest physical threat to AM, but I don't understand exactly why nobody was able to get and load a gun to defend themselves.
The hammer would have been a silent weapon, but I'd guess someone who was being attacked would cry out if there was a struggle.
In the end, I don't think the order of attack is critical though.

Now passive drip stains on different surfaces. Then flow patterns. Transfer stains. Large volume stains.
Now spatter stains, impact events.

Continuing with cast-off patterns. Directionality, tadpole stains. Wiping, feathering, and diluting.
(Easier to listen to than to write about. Lol.)
