This lady was the friend that was with the earlier witness with the dogs who went down toward the berm and smelled something terrible. They picked the dogs back up and went back home.

They didn't know what the smell was. She has experience with small dogs like Yorkies. Usually sell for at least $500, the low end for a pet.

Next witness Salvatore Pizzo cab driver. Picked up AM & 10:30 10:30-11:30 pm Sept 4. Said his name was Jake. Picked up at Yachtsman & Old Dixie Hwy. Cab driver saw police activity & said something to AM, AM didn't respond. Wanted to go to Ft Myers or Key West. Took him to Greyhound Station. Stopped at Circle K to get drink for Tristan.

So AM left because of police activity... he stayed there for six days!!!

Can we tell where the defense is going from these proposed jury instructions? Self-defense, manslaughter, justifiable homicide. Or is this standard language?

I don't know. It doesn't seem to me he has any defense for his actions in killing four people and then stealing their money and belongings and selling or attempting to sell them.

I missed his testimony when I had to go pick up my luncheon companions and guests for the day. (Grilled cheese for one, pb&j for the other, now cartoons.)

I listened to this 911 call again that Megan made that morning & picked up on a few things. He came after her with the knife in 'Tristan's room'. She said they 'hadn't been together' in a few weeks...(she & Nick had only been together two weeks)...was this the catalyst after she had been out all night? She later said that her room 'had an outside lock' on the door. AM left without a shirt on his back maybe on foot but he had a bike...so he was probably like that all day until he returned that night to murder them. He had been drinking.

Do you think he locked Tristan in her room with the outside lock?
