Weapons, bodies, and the truck were all dumped within a mile of 7719 Hatteras Dr.

Distances between Fisherman's Shack and Wawa discussed. Now cellphones, 2 within residence; Margaret and Greg's, and another in canal. That phone looked like it had been crushed before being thrown in canal. They looked for four phones, but only found three. Keys to Nick's vehicle were never found. Shovel found in silver van, no other large shovels found in residence.

Now talking about how placing AM's fingerprints and DNA within house would not have helped in the investigation since he lived in the house.
Some items they did try to get DNA/fingerprints from, like the Kel Tec pistol found in the canal. Other items like ropes, zip ties, and the bag on Margaret Brown's head they did try to find DNA/fingerprints.

No shell casings found at the crime scenes. They could account for four gunshots, possibly five.

Margaret's body was found with no shoes. No footwear was found in residence that matched footprints in blood found in garage.

Any evidence explaining where Tristan was; photo of door into Tristan's bedroom. Doorknob had to have keys.

agreed. im hoping they took a forensic interview w him at the time and can use that. leave him alone now.

This poor child was traumatized enough. I hope that he is loved and feeling safe where he is now...if it is at all possible after witnessing four brutal murders of those he loved at the hands of his father.

I was going to suggest this yesterday, after double checking the date that th canoe was found across but I got side tracked and forgot.

Saying AM maybe used the neighbor's canoe to quickly get away when LE showed up at the area/house...after being there six days after the murders! That's when he went to the Circle K with Tristan, then pu a cab a few blocks away from the house. This gave him a different direction out of the neighborhood going across the canal.
