Some snips from the article dated today. Veronica and Cieha Taylor had mutual acquaintances.... could be nothing, could be something. "Fidencio said their family and Cieha's family are working together to bring their loved ones home safe."

Mother of three missing from Dover, Florida home since January

Veronica Marllen Reyes-Diaz, 23, was last seen in the early morning hours of Saturday, January 18, 2020. Her father, Fidencio Minjares, told Dateline that Veronica had made plans to go out Friday night with a friend. Her husband stayed home with their 1-year-old son and she took their two older sons, ages 4 and 5, to her sister's house in Plant City, Florida, about 15 minutes away. She returned home and was picked up by her friend later that night.

Around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, Veronica's friend dropped her off at her house and then Veronica drove to her sister's house to pick up the boys before returning home, according to Veronica's father. Once the children were inside and put to bed, her father said that's when it appears she left the house again, but didn't return.

Nearly three weeks after Veronica vanished, 28-year-old Cieha Taylor disappeared from Plant City, Florida on February 6. She was previously featured in Dateline NBC's "Missing in America." Cieha's black 2000 Toyota Solaris was found abandoned on railroad tracks at East Trapnell Road. The engine was still running. Her belongings, including her cell phone and debit card, were in the car.

It is not known if these two disappearances are connected, but Fidencio said he is looking into every possibility. He said that as far as he knows, the two women did not know each other, but said he has discovered they have mutual acquaintances.

Let’s assume she picked up the boys about 1:30-1:45am. Drives home and arrives at about 2:00am. Take the boys in, tucks them into bed by 2:30am. At this point, does she check in on the baby? Does she talk to her husband if he’s awake or, peek in on her husband assuming he is asleep? Perhaps everything looked as it should, family is all asleep. Except the older boy wasn’t. He claims she left.

Did she decide to go outside because she was too awake from the night out? Fresh air to relax type thing. Did she mean to only take a smoke break if she was a smoker? Did she meet someone where they went that night? Did they come to pick her up at about 2:30am?

I suspect this is what happened -- she gets home at 1:15ish from a night of dinner and hanging out with a friend. It's not that weird to get home that late, she's only 23, being 23 in this part of town is very boring, I grew up in this area. A lot of people just sort of hang out places for a long time. When they are done, friend drops her off at home because that's where her car is. She drives to PC. She gets there around 1:30 - 1:45 and gets her children and drives back, but getting them all in the car probably took a little time, especially if they were asleep. So she probably gets home around 2:30ish?

Her kids are probably asleep, except maybe the five-year-old. She has two kids she has to carry inside (the one-year-old stayed home with the dad).

She doesn't bring in her wallet or other items because her arms are full of children. (I've definitely been that mom who leaves their stuff in the car to bring their kids inside and comes back out for it.) She gets the kids settled and goes back outside for her keys and wallet, her phone could have been in her pocket if she was wearing jeans or something with pockets. Someone was out there and she didn't make it back to the car, OR she got to the car with her keys but then was taken and they were closed in the car.

Either way, I think it's very possible she was taken from the location. My question is does the father live in the family home with them? That would make it even more difficult to suspect it was a domestic event if he does? On the dateline article, he didn't explicitly state that but he spoke about the whole thing as if he witnessed her coming and going. I can't find that information anywhere.

I answered my own question, her father does not live with them, he lives at a different residence, so ignore my questions at the end there.

Bump for Veronica - her FB shows a young mother obviously devoted to her family.

I wonder what that special project is that they are planning.

Families of missing women protest at sheriff’s office

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Two women, missing since the beginning of the year, and now their families are getting vocal about what they call a lack of investigation on behalf of police.

Outside the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Ybor City protestors got loud. Unlike recent protests, this one is mostly family members protesting the way detectives have handled the case of missing mother of 3, Veronica Reyes-Diaz.

“She was a great mother. She was always there for her kids. She was young. She was a young mom, but she did everything she could for those kids,” said Gloria Delgado.

Which is why family says it’s strange she was last seen January 18 in Dover. After spending the evening with a friend, the family says she went to pick up 2 of her kids from her sisters. The next morning she was gone.

“Her keys were there. Her wallet was there. Her phone was missing. It was the only thing that was missing,” said Delgado.

HCSO says they have been in constant contact with Veronica’s father. He tells 8 On Your Side he just started getting calls last Thursday.

“At the end of the day she needs to come home, no matter which way she comes home,” said Delgado.

I am Veronica’s aunt. Very little was done at the beginning. Sheriffs office told us we knew where she was and we were doing this for attention. Oldest son wasn’t questioned about that night until 4 months later. He was 5 at the time. Husband claims he didn’t hear them come home. They live in a single wide mobile home. Boys were awake when the left her sisters house. And she is a loud person. No way he didn’t hear them come home.

Welcome to WS and I’m sorry for your family - I’m disappointed in how little is known - IMO

Video at link. Her parents are saying that she dropped off her kids and then disappeared. Car, keys and purse left behind.
Car keys, purse left behind where?

It says last seen leaving a friends house at 1 am and it also says her sister was the last person to see her.

Did her sister see her leaving the friends house at 1 am?

Husband. They sometimes disapprove of their SO being out late.
