The car of a Franklin County man who has been missing for about a week was found on Monday afternoon, according to the sheriff’s office.

A Silver Alert was issued for William Collins, 73, on April 21. According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Collins was last heard from on the 21st at 8:15 p.m.

Collins was last seen in Apalachicola, Florida, wearing a black and white shirt, khaki pants and black shoes.
